Well where I live it isn't much more expensive than say life in Washington(State) or Portland. It's really beautiful and it's not raining or overcast 80% of the year like Seattle or Portland.

Of the three people who own HD598s in my apartment, two are amateur sound engineers, myself included. They are completely fucking amazing and, post-breakin, will make you want to jizz your pants every time you go to listen to music.... But if you're a casual listener, a $200-250 set of cans is ridiculous.

That's the nice thing for me. Sure I'm 5'6" but a lot of girls are either my height or slightly shorter than me so it works out pretty well in the end. I've long since come to terms with my shortness, certainly hasn't gotten in the way.
