When I was in school, I hardly ever saw or talked to my teachers outside of school or school events. Now, it seems like teachers and students are adding each other on Facebook, which is just fanning the flames on any potential transgressions.

he's not at the point where he's able to truly be independent, 16 is a young age and the guy is just really starting to come to grips with their own identity at that age.
Relationships have to be "equally yolked".

The kind of person who would say that these boys were "lucky" to have a teacher like this are the kind that could not get laid if their life depended on it. Not only that, but have never felt like they were used for sex. It happened to me when I was in my early 20s but I sensed it (someone trying to get over their ex but still wanting them) it stings but at least I was experienced enough to know what went down. It's not fun to come to the realization that someone you might have had feels for was banging 3 other guys and had a husband at that age.

Sure, guys in puberty think that but what they don't realize is this can be emotionally damaging in the long run. It can corrupt their view on relationships that will follow them for the rest of their lives. They think "cool! I got laid by this older chic!" and then do the same to a 14 year old girl when they are 25.

i was in this group therapy meeting once and this guy told the group about his experience losing his virginity with an adult woman at like age 12 and how much he enjoyed it and all the women in the group tried to convince him he was raped but the guy adamantly refused it and kept going back to how much he enjoyed the experience and the women just kept growing more and more furious at him while he just sat there smiling

At the time I was like "This is such easy extra credit" as I sucked at his class but when I look back now, I think "WTF?!?!?"

Sad thing is those boys might not even realize they were just used to satisfy that woman's urges for another few years. The relationship between female teachers and male students can turn pretty weird once puberty has kicked in. Back in 10th grade we had a very attractive biology teacher and the majority of the boys in class were deeply infatuated with her. She never reacted to any of their advances, but it still got to the point where a week-long class trip to Munich got cancelled because those boys harassed another female teacher who was supposed to go on that trip with us, telling her she was ugly and that they'd only go on that trip with teacher A. I wonder how the kids feel knowing they started out adulthood by helping to destroy a family, assist in adultery, and ultimately have been taken advantage of by a mentally unstable woman.
