This arrived earlier today!

I know there's been a lot of negative buzz about it online buuut that hasn't dampened my hype. When it comes to Bioware stuff in particular I have to judge for myself & they haven't let me down yet. Heck, if I like it even a tenth as much as the other ME games then it'll be well worth it

Actually have a pickup today.

After playing Metal Gear Rising with keyboard/mouse I realized I needed an actual controller for games like these. Thought I might as well splurge so I went for the custom xbox one s controller from Xbox Design Lab.

I was thinking of getting the steelbook but figured getting the game at release, the collectors edition guide & the deluxe upgrade (well, whenever that's available) was enough to spend on it at once aha

Picked up the Disney Store exclusive Darth Vader figure for my birthday this past Sunday.

Picked up True Lies the next day at Walmart for $5. I got it on DVD since there's on Blu-ray release yet. Haven't watched it in like 20+ years.

And I just picked up the Sony STR-DH550 5.2 surround sound receiver today at Best Buy. It sounds great so far. Much better than the old Sony MHC-BX6AV I was using, which only supported Pro Logic. I also had a Sony DAV-S300, but it was having problems, so I switched to using that other one. But this new one is so much nicer than anything else I've ever used. I also used a Panasonic 5.1 system (don't remember the model right now) for a while, which my older brother still uses.

Man, I haven't watched that movie in a good, long while. Shame it's not on BluRay, I loved it. I'm pretty sure I remember reading on IGN back in like 2000-ish that James Cameron was going to make True Lies 2 with Schwarzenegger but big guy was busy with Terminator 3. I hated Terminator 3 before it even came out!

Dammit! You can't even rent it on Amazon! ...tF?

I'm kinda spoiler sensitive so I've only quickly flicked through, from what I saw it's mostly screenshots but there is some cool artwork too
I'd say it's pretty comparable to the ME2 collectors guide I have (minus the comic), but with the artwork more spread throughout the book instead of pretty much all being in a bonus section at the back - though there is a section at the back with developers interviews & concept art. There's only a few pages in the book that are just art though

I really like the art that's in there but I'm not sure if I'd recommend buying the book just for it - quantity is a little lacking, especially since the book is huge. Might be better to wait for the artbook

Just curious... Does this version of the book contain an overworld map for the original Legend of Zelda? I have the one that comes with the slip that looks like a cartridge, and it's just missing. It has like a header for it and everything, it's just not there. I wonder if they fixed that in the other versions or the later printings.

I found this cabinet at ikea that works well enough to hold my systems. I also have other stuff that doesn't need to be in a cabinet like a switch, 3ds, gaming pc et al.

I have way too much game stuff.

I had this on pre-order under a few days ago, but yep, I can see it being one that remains available and drops in price.

Horizon: Zero Dawn appears to be another matter entirely... Amazon (UK) still don't have a date for mine to dispatch, despite it being a pre-order, placed fairly well in advance. For that matter, I don't see why the release date was delayed from that of the game itself in the first place!

Sadly not, at least not where you're referring to (there's a very small version on page 129) - I was actually looking at that myself only last night and it's certainly an unfortunate omission. AFAIK, all copies of the book are identical, so this won't be any different from the slipcover version..

No worries - and yep, agreed, it's an odd omission. I've played the original Legend of Zelda many years ago, but despite being a *huge* Zelda fan, couldn't swear actually to have beaten it.... so I'm looking to rectify that, and do Zelda II while I'm at it! I'm actually playing on 3DS at the moment rather than my NES Classic Mini.

I don't have a date for an estimate in my orders or anything, there's just 11 April next to the item name on Amazon's page that makes me think that's the new release date. Yeah, I remember that it used to say 31 March, but I always kinda hoped that it was like a placeholder date and I'd get it earlier in the month lol.

I was just looking around when I was at Walmart this morning and was considering on getting that Ori and the Blind Forest. It wasn't in the clearance bin though, so I didn't get it. I probably would've gotten that NES Remix if I saw it for five clams, too. I dunno why though, I don't really like it.

(I already have Ori and the Blind Forest, just not a physical copy. I bought it on Xbox One and the definitive edition upgrade or whatever it was and bought it ~~twice~~ just checked - correction: three times to give away as gifts through steam.)

Edit: Also bought some digital games. Dragon Quest on droid and then Yakuza 5 and Flower and Tactics Ogre on PSN.

I'm super late but here are my Feb pickups!

I got a gold medal from Extra-Life for raising about $6,200 USD for my local children's hospital!

My GF got me a GoPro Hero 5 Black Edition for xmas/bday and I finally had a chance to use it in Feb

And we went to Banff for our annual big snowboarding trip where I proposed to my girlfriend of 4 years in the middle a frozen lake (Lake Louise) between two mountains.

I was being too careful and didn't take a pic of the ring incase it was found by my SO since we live together. Maybe I'll get a pic for y'al next thread!

Im presuming because of your uk games you are uk based?

I didnt think play asia shipped to uk - did someone get it for you or if they do ship to uk, did you get hit by import / customs duty?

This was using airmail (offered for free at the time), which I gather has a fairly low risk of being picked up by customs - very different from if using a specialist courier who would declare everything as a matter of course,
