Is it even worth preordering it from them?
was ever any shortages for a Nintendo hardware launch outside Japan?
Someone at that link makes a good point; was there any shortages with the GC at launch? I'm not sure if it's going to be THAT hard to get one.
That aside, FYE is a shitty chain and won't be getting any of my monies.

This is NOT the Gamecube, and yes, there were shortages for that even if I remember. It had an awesome launch week, its sales disapated quickly. Nintendos fortunes with the Wii will be known after launch and how it sells.

I have to pre-order this bitch from somewhere
normally I always get my Nintendo launch hardware by taking the train to NYC
TRU Times Square or NWS for the Wii

Well, the deposit is always refundable if you decide otherwise. I think I might just stop by there tomorrow.
I might do it. I already preordered the PS3 there.
The N64 was the original launch shortage. My mom seriously paid some sears cashier 50 bucks to hold the only one they had left, when we got mine.Originally Posted by Calidor
