Persona 3 Portable
+ Everything that they changed in this remake changed for the better...
- ...Except it doesn't include The Answer part of the game for some strange reason.

The Idolmaster SP: Missing Moon
+ You can produce best idol Chihaya in this version.
- ..But it's an older game, so she's not quite as best as Second Vision Chihaya.
-
Where's my 3DS Imas, Namco!? Bring back Ryo! Cinderella Girls suck!

Her Story
+ Interesting structure.
- CRT effect was annoying, but disabling it wasn't ideal either.

...Yeah, I don't play many new games these days.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
Like: Graphics, voice acting, brutality, the character that shows up towards the middle that I don't want to spoil, atmosphere, Batmobile, combat felt better.
Dislike: Riddler challenges. They were boring for the most part and made the game seemed longer than it should have been.

Journey (PS4 this time)
Like: Graphics and music are really nice.
Dislike: Just about everything. It's not very fun, which is why I play games. It's like moving a piece of art around. I hated it the first time, and hated it a second time. Incredibly short game with little to go back to. One giant slow moving linear piece of art.

Broken Age
Like: Voice acting and characters. Graphics were charming. It was old-school adventure clicking fun.
Dislike: The 2nd act just felt like you were clicking everything. The pacing felt off.

Markitron

Is currently staging a hunger strike outside Gearbox HQ while trying to hate them to death
God of War 3:

+ Amazing set pieces with the greatest opening of any game ever
- Loses momentum in the final third

Arkham Knight:

+ Best game in the series, perfect Batman simulator
- No real boss battles

The Witcher 3:

+ New standard in open world building
- Awful combat and skill trees

The Talos Principle

+: Outstanding puzzle design, better than Portal 1 and 2. (Although I think that Portal 1/2 are better games overall.) The puzzle design is the best I've seen in any puzzler (regardless of viewpoint or 2D/3D) since Braid.
+: Good music
+: Interesting storytelling, with Elohim, the terminals, the QR codes, etc.
-: I didn't like the "Tetris" parts, where you fit a bunch of sigils together to open a new path or unlock an item. They're just not fun. The ones with 8 or fewer pieces are OK since I usually figure them out quickly, but the bigger ones with 12+ pieces get tedious quick.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

+: Absolutely outstanding soundtrack, easily the best this year and up there among the greats (just like the first game). Introduced me to Carpenter Brut.
+: I liked that they tried new ideas (even though a couple of them didn't quite work) and mixed it up. HM2 managed to feel fresh despite having the same gameplay mechanics as HM1.
-: Some stages dragged on too long
-: I wasn't fond of the lock-on implementation in the first game, and the problem persists in HM2 too.
-: A bit too much story stuff at times

Ori and the Blind Forest

+: Beautiful, interesting world. This is an area where most other Metroidvanias fall short (Shadow Complex, Dust, Valdis Story for example).
+: Great art direction and soundtrack
+: Evocative characters
+: Excellent, challenging platforming
+/-: Combat encounters are serviceable, but nothing special. Most enemies feel like filler.
-: The
escape
sequences could use an additional checkpoint or two.

Fire Emblem: Fates
Like: Just a super solid strategy RPG experience, as usual.
Dislike: Feels dumbed down (no weapon degradation) and the whole "face rubbing" mini-game made me feel immensely uncomfortable.

Yoshi's Woolly World
Like: Graphics, music, gameplay are all great. Feels like a visual successor to Kirby's Epic Yarn while maintaining the gameplay of the classic Yoshi games. Definitely the best Yoshi game since the original Yoshi's Island.
Dislike: Nothing really. It's about as good as you could hope.

Assassin's Creed Unity
Like: If you make sure not to play too many Ubisoft games in a year, they can actually be fun.
Dislike: Didn't give a shit about the story or characters. Everything felt like a HUGE step back from Black Flag. Having hundreds of citizens in the streets didn't add anything of note.

Yoshi's Wooly World

I loved the soundtrack and finding collectables was satisfying.

I didn't like how the minibosses just repeat after the first two worlds. (that was just me scraping for a criticism. Can't think of anything wrong with it otherwise)

Donkey Kong Country

I thought the visual presentation was fantastic for SNES. Was expecting it to have aged like milk.

The levels about firing yourself out of barrels are annoying and the bosses are kinda lame

Astro Boy Omega Factor

The bosses, especially the world's strongest robots, are really fun and the way the New Game + is about
time travelling to end the conflict before it begins and prevent the bad ending
was really cool.

The slowdown can be really bad (well, it is GBA) and the giant enemies being upscaled sprites looks kinda ugly. Especially when they do it with the human enemies.

Batman: Arkham Knight
+ Very polished and extraordinary production values.
- No, I actually don't buy Batman games, because I'm such a fan of World of Tanks.
(un-honorary mentions: 2 incidences where the game presents me a moral choice and when choosing X it responds with "fuck you, of course this is not a real choice, you have to pick Y!" ...really poor. I won't remember much of the story in 4 years, but I definitely will remember this. Why make it a choice at all? Why not autoplay Batman in those situations for me instead?)

Transistor
+ The art style is just beautiful.
- Combat just feels impactless(!). I want Red to make flip jumps using the transistor as counterweight, I want processes shattering, exploding in bursts of blinding light with the screen shaking and process debry flying around then phase into nothingness.

Xenonauts
+ Combat is better and more tactical than in the latest X-Com: Enemy Unknown.
- UI is missing effects and makes the game feel like spreadsheets with interface improvements through bitmaps as buttons.
(original UFO: Enemy Unknown / X-Com: UFO Defense is still better than the newest X-Com and Xenonauts because it has more options in base building, dogfighting and SWATing/Rainbow-Six'ing larger UFOs)

GTA V
+ Story. Amazing. The first GTA since VICE city that has held my interest and motivated me to finish it.
+ Heists. This is what I want in my GTA.
- Controls. I hate momentum based controls.

Arkham Knight
+ Story. I killed the game off in three days because the story kept me going
+ FIghting. Other games have copied it, but i still think Rocksteady does it best.
- Batmobile. Cutout half of the required Batmobile time and this moves into the plus column.
-
Drill machine boss
. Seriously, screw this fight. Just not fun. AT ALL.

CoD: AW
+ Concept. Fun tech, and a coherent story.
+ EXO movement in multiplayer was fun
- The stiff level scripting that requires you to stick with the AI characters in order for events to trigger at the right pace. Get ahead and screw up the script and you die.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
+ Favorite art style I've seen in a game
- Fi

Shantae: Risky's Revenge
+ Really fun to find and use all the transformations
- Hate it when a game's world map spoils the size of the game right from the beginning. The sequel, Pirate's Curse, fixed this problem

Gears of War 2
+ Everything.
- It's almost TOO good

Mega Man:

+ Controls are really tight as always. Music is really good.

- Levels are kind of not great with more cheap deaths than I care for. Robot bosses are too easy and have simple patterns. Wily level bosses much better but still not great. Understandable since it's the first game and all.

Haven't beaten many games lately with a new born daughter.

Arkham Knight

+ Everything (except)
- Riddler Trophies

Suikoden 4

+ Pirates !
- 4 person party

Atelier Escha & Logy

+ Production Quality (i expected cheap VO, stiff animations, etc)
- Time Limit

Demon's Souls
Liked: world 4 with the flying sting rays looks so cool. Disliked: the nexus is cool but i hate not being able to easily hop around the different worlds without going back to it every time. this bugs me in the other games too.

Dark Souls
Liked: very little i didn't like. amazing atmosphere, boss fights were fucking incredible and i looove how interconnected the whole world is. this was my first souls game.

Dark Souls 2
Disliked: lame/easy bosses for the most part. some parts of the world were fucking ugly. Liked: overall the game was great looking and fun as hell and there's so much to do.

I loved all of them.

Her Story:

+ Interesting mystery and who-done-it
- Became a bit tedious trying to unlock all videos

Final Fantasy VIII

+ Interesting use of summons with junctioning
- Stupid lock out of world mechanic in disk 4

The Road to Gehenna

+ More amazing puzzles and fucking awesome story
- It ended

Tales of the Abyss

+Lloyd actually had one of the better jrpg main character arcs that I've ever seen.
- Story is bogged down by so much lore and jargon.

Paper Mario
+ Perfect length, fun combat
- Peach sections were kind of boring. Wish she would have been in the party like in SMRPG

Citizens of Earth
+ Fun modern setting
- Crashed a solid amount, terribly high encounter rates

Rocket League:
+ Fun, adicting gameplay
- Online issues

Tales of Hearts R:
+ Combat is fun
- Kor Meteor is probably one of the worst RPG protagonist ever

Fallout 3
+ Inmersive world and VATS is amazing
- Buggy as hell, even the PC version

Tales of the Abyss

+Lloyd actually had one of the better jrpg main character arcs that I've ever seen.

;D

But yeah, Luke does have one the best main character arc i have ever seen in a rpg.

MG GZ - time affects your score? no fun (although I seem to remember this being the case in the past too
+ good old MGS action right out of the gate. they left a tank here? :]

Destiny - well........ why bother the minuses are pretty clear.
+ gunplay , PVP is among the best out there right now for newer games (this should be a minus but its a sad PVP world out there right now).

FarCry 4 - bad story , same old same old
+ some of the same old stuff is a lot of fun.

Arkham Knight

Good: Presentation was great. I loved it whenever You Know Who would pop up.

Bad: Challenge Rooms being DLC now is a huge fuck up. Also, I know everyone says it, but they really did rely wayyyyy too much on the Batmobile and taking out drones. Lame.

FFX HD

Good: Just as good as I remembered. The voice acting was decent enough and some of the remixed music was a treat. Having the International Edition content was a nice plus too.

Bad: Some of the remixed music sucked balls though. The faces also looked funny and were not as expressive as they were in the PS2 original as a result. And all the mini games you have to do for the ultimate weapons still suck out loud.

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
+ Love the improvements to items and additional enemies
- Music is not as memorable and I miss the old flash aesthetic

Sunset Overdrive
+ Feels like Jet Grind Radio and Ratchet and Clank had a baby, weapons are fun to use
- Too short, for me at least

Five Nights at Freddy's
+ Never has a game made me feel so scared and paranoid
- Never has a game made me feel so scared and paranoid

Yoshi's Woolly World:
Positive - The game is one of the best platformers I've played. It looks awesome, sounds great, controls tight, has lots of content and unlockables (I got 34 hours total for 100%), great co-op, challenging.
Negative - Everything has to end eventually, wish there was even more stuff in the game.

Trine Enchanted Edition:
Positive - Looks and sounds great, nice physics-based gameplay.
Negative - So short, like 4-5 hours to almost 100% the game :/ Trine 2 was so much better in every way.

Hyrule Warriors:
Positive - So, so much to do in the game. I've played 50 hours and still there's like half of the content left and this is without any DLC (which supposedly adds the same amount of stuff extra). Fun gameplay that doesn't get old...
Negative - ...although it does get a bit repeatative, but the different modes add lots of variety to the actual gameplay even if the content is basically the same.

Journey
+ Stunning sound design and visual
+ Storytelling with unique online aspect
- Cutscenes between areas felt out-of-place and pulled me out of the atmosphere

The Talos Principle
+ Great puzzle design that makes you feel smart
+ Superb narration with lots of philosophical aspects
- Artstyle a bit too realistic. I wish it would look a bit more stylized.

Yoshis Wooly World
+ Varied and creative level design with lots of secrets, that are always somehow communicated
+Gorgeous art style with lots of charme
- Okay music, but lives not up to Yoshis Island
- Lame and easy boss fights

Most negatives sure are a bit nitpicky, but what should I do? Those three are all really great games.

Batman: Arkham Knight:
- Amazing graphics and cinematic presentation
- Fluid combat system
- Fun to glide around Gotham

- Batmobile tank battles get extraordinarily tedious towards the end of the game
- Story beats fall flat and the twist is telegraphed from half a game away
- No boss battles

Bloodborne:
- Intense combat system makes every encounter feel meaningful
- Outstanding level and encounter design leads to some very memorable locations
- Bosses are some of the best of the series

- Technical performance is still absolutely abominable, even after patches
- Lack of character builds
- Feels shorter than previous Souls games

Telltale's The Walking Dead: Season 2:
- Presentation values are greatly improved over Season 1

- Characters aren't as memorable as Season 1

Teslegrad
+ Various magnetism mechanics are all interesting and it manages to keep the puzzle platforming fresh throughout.
- One hit kill trial and error style boss battles are just the absolute worst.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse
+ Slight changes to the series structure lead to the first entry in this series I feel like I really enjoyed, decent dungeon design as well
- Still feels a touch lacking on the whole with some drab overworld areas.

Yoshi's Woolly World
+ Actually being the first good Yoshi game in years, lovely audiovisual side to boot.
- Still a touch too familiar to previous Island titles and the bosses aren't as strong as those in the original.
And by extension of being a Yoshi game it's not exactly as immediately replayable as other platformers.

Rocket League
+ addicting gameplay
- not much content
- buggy

Valiant Hearts
+ engrossing *educational* story
- simple gameplay and puzzles

Ni No Kuni
+ beautiful world, engaging story
- gameplay and production felt a little hit or miss, sporadic levels of difficulty

bonus - Resident Evil 4
+ inventive, great gameplay, good atmosphere
- really meh story

I'm replaying MGS cames to prepare for Phantom Pain in September, so:

Metal Gear Solid
+ Story was great, nostalgia everywhere
- Boss fights are less fun than I remember

Metal Gear Solid 2
+ The mindfucky story and robo-Campbell were amazing
- Emma escort was painfully terrible

Metal Gear Solid 3
+ Everything... voice acting, dialogue, story, gameplay, one of the best games of all time.
- The Cobra Unit bosses are a bit absurd

The Witcher 3

+ Very well written
+ Some of the best quests I've ever seen
+ Massive World
+ Looks very nice despite the downgrade
+ Gwent
+ Awesome soundtrack

- Framerate, especially in Novigrad
-
The side quest that determined that ruler of the North was incredibly half assed at the end, particularly the part with Dijkstra

Fallout Shelter

+ Can become very addicting
+ Captures the Fallout World very well
+ Leveling for all characters
+ I'm constantly able to earn packs so I never felt the need to spend money on them

- I'm running out of space
- I wish there were more types of rooms to build
- The game lags a lot once you have over 100 dwellers and build a ton

Bloodborne

+ Amazing atmosphere
+ Best enemy design ever
+ Best final boss ever
Gehrman, not Moon Presence
+ Best opening bosses ever aside from GOW3
+ Genuinely different combat from Souls while still having the Souls Feeling
+ Awesome Soundtrack

- Lack of content (weapons, armor, covenants)
- Load times are still long
- Shorter main quest than every Souls game
- Little to no character diversity because most Hunter Tools are useless
- Chalice Dungeons are way too repetitive in design and objectives
- Co op is unnecessarily complicated
- Rom

Bloodborne
+The basic gameplay loop is one of the most fun and satisfying I've experienced in a long-ass time, plus best story in the souls series IMO
-The loading times were bad when it came out, I guess?
Fallout New Vegas
+The fucking writing. Quests, dialogue, random backstory that you only get from a terminal in a cubicle half a mile away from anything useful. 'S great.
-Bugs.
FFIV DS
+The augment system is a really interesting way to add a little bit of customization to the party without radically changing the game.
-The game is one of the worst about status effects I've ever seen. It's a vestigial system with no practical use. Also, the dungeon layouts are a fucking slog, especially the Tower of Babil

life is strange episode 4
+best episode so far, handles mature topics very well and way better then most games that attempt to
-memes

doom 3 lost missions
+shooting felt pretty good and level design was alright
-monster design still sucks ass

New vegas: dead money
+atmosphere was really good and different for a fallout game
-pretty hard at times

Astro Boy: Omega Factor

+ Amazing pixel art visuals, awesome 2D brawler and shooter action, fun goofy story, great game!
- Slowdown

Earthbound

+ Charming to read, hear, play, and look at. Fun, lighthearted spin on the JRPG that gets weird and dark real quick but that's just quirky old Earthbound.
- Some difficulty issues early on with a bad spike later. Too long for the narrative, which is not all that engaging.

Kirby's Dream Land

+ Beautiful sprites and animations, great music, just oozes life and charm. Simple fun.
- Perhaps a little bit too easy.

Geometry Wars 3

- local co op only

The Witcher 3 (ps4)

Dark Souls 2 (ps4)
+ So much content, tons of stuff to do
- Boss designs are lacking

Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc
+ Amazing gameplay, great characters, monokuma.
- Ending was fairly predictable.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
+ Top notch 2D fighter, exactly what I'd expect from ArcSys.
- Lame story mode is boring and too long.

Lords of Magna: Maiden Heaven
+ Lots of kawaii waifus!
- Clunky Rune Factory combat.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss
+Impressive graphics for a handheld title. Decent.
- Horrible, shitty touchscreen QTEs everywhere. Some bosses are nothing but extended touch QTE segments. Worst Uncharted.

Dead or Alive 5: LR
+Looks and plays great. Best DOA.
- Story is as dumb as ever.

Never Alone
+ Nice story and execution. Decent graphics
- Short and maybe a little too simple.

Splatoon:

+ Innovative, refreshing, and great to play both single and multiplayer
- I feel that it could have done with 3 or so more multiplayer stages

Shogo: Mobile Armor Division:

+ Loved the design, setting, feel and all the anime references
- The critical hit mechanic leads to a lot of cheap kills and I feel has no place in an FPS

Valkyria Chronicles:

+ Great gameplay, story (complete with fantastic world building) and artstyle
- This game could have done with a method to fast-forward enemy turns

Atelier Escha & Logy

+ Production Quality (i expected cheap VO, stiff animations, etc)
- Time Limit

Might be the second Atelier game I will buy, only played Rorona so far. The soundtrack especially made the decision.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse
+ Slight changes to the series structure lead to the first entry in this series I feel like I really enjoyed, decent dungeon design as well
- Still feels a touch lacking on the whole with some drab overworld areas.

One of the last games I played. Pretty much how I feel, and I might add:
+ Playtime was 8 hours, which is absolutely fine
+ The level design is better than before, with more lovely metroidvania elements
- Most overworld areas are still too linear for their own good, makes it feel like they did it that way just to pad the game length

Catherine
+ Absolutely unique game, haven't played a game like this before
+ It sounds like there's not much, but with 13 hours of playtime I was really satisfied
+ Excellent characters with some wonderful tense cutscenes and nice writing
- Some of the twists are not that well done (Catherines Origin, for example)

Verdict: Get that game.

Zelda: Links Birthday
+ A neat little Zelda Classic game with well-designed areas and dungeons
+ Much bigger than I thought - aside from the 9 main + 3 bonus dungeons there were at least 8 smaller dungeons hidden around the world, some of them really fun
+ The last boss being a custom one with escape sequence was a wonderful surprise
+ With 10 hours of playtime a nice quick fan game that doesn't overstay their welcome
- No Warp via Ocarina, instead you have some warp caves which are not as great

If I'm not forgetting anything....

Splatoon (single player):

-Surprisingly good for a short campaign in an MP focused game.
-The last boss was a pain in the ass, and I doubt I'll beat the Amiibo challenge versions of it.

Bloodborne

-Great combat, atmosphere and world design
-Farming vials--wish the currente 600 storage limit had been their from launch

Zelda-Majora's Mask 3D

-The quirkyness compared to other Zelda games
-Only 4 real dungeons.

Tomb Raider Definitive:

Good - Fantastic set pieces, nicely presented
Bad - Wildly sporadic frame rate, not even close to the billed 60fps for most of the game

Bloodborne:

Good - Great combat, brilliant art direction
Bad - Awful frame pacing

The Order 1886:

Good - Gorgeous graphics, well voice acted and smoother than your average 30fps game (great engine)
Bad - Short

Loved the world building and great characters in said world.
Hated how glitchy it can be (on XB1 anyway.)

Fire Emblem Awakening
Loved the gameplay and story.
Disliked... not much. This is a fantastic game.

Super Smash Bros for Wii U
Loved the new characters and the fact that it is a faster game than Brawl.
Hate that the single player content has been reduced by so much, and the online net code leaves a lot to be desired.

Strider
Liked-it was a Metroidvania
Disliked-it was too short

Cave Story+
Liked-It had a great selection of weapons
Disliked-FUCK YOU BALLOS(took me a whole day)

Killer is Dead
Liked-the bosses
Disliked-the camera

God of War 3 Remastered
+ Same great game as it was on PS3
+ Combat system is as refreshing as it was the first time I played the game on PS2.

- Challenges are all you can rely on after you finish it
- Nothing really new to gaming. I paid a pretty penny for a game I knew like the back of my hand. I knew how everything was going to happen.

Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition
+ 5 characters to choose from
+ Bloody Palace is a lot of fun
+ A lot more fun than I had with the PS3 version

- Level design should have been expanded upon and fleshed out beyond simply backtracking all the time
- The campaign feels like it was made for just Nero and Nero only

Batman: Arkham Knight
+ A great game to experience. Wonderful graphics and the world comes to life just like you were reading a graphic novel.
+ Controls were a lot of fun
+ Lots of Easter eggs

- Not enough intelligent Batmobile design. Drones became the same enemy over and over. No real place to drive the Batmobile instead of streets and parking near checkpoints. I would have liked to have been driving at a decent speed to my location, but I only felt that way going to the GCPD.
- Riddler trophies didn't feel important. I enjoyed the audio logs from Arkham Asylum.
- No real reason for New Game+. I felt like they didn't utilize the entire cast.

Metroid Prime
+Nearly everything, probably as close to a perfect game as I've ever played. Great atmosphere, story (through scans), platforming, and controls (Wii version)
-The
Omega Elite
fight. It's just such a frustrating boss to fight

Fire Emblem 7
+Sprites are very well done, great Fire Emblem game play
-The characters outside of a few are so under-baked and the restriction and lack of description on supports did not help.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
+Very charming story and tons of awesome characters
-Some weird logic needed to progress like having to press the same statement and pick the same option twice to advance in one of the cases. Additionally, it was quite annoying to have to suspend play whenever you wanted to save.

All three are great overall though, it has been fun as of late.

- The critical hit mechanic leads to a lot of cheap kills and I feel has no place in an FPS

I played this not too long ago. I thought it was made real well and the transitions were a lot of fun. I wish more mech games took this approach to game play and storytelling, especially if they're a FPS.

I enjoyed two other games like One Unit Whole: Blood and another title that isn't necessarily in the same league: Giants: Citizen Kabuto.

BBatman Arkahm Knight

- Batmobile overload

god of war 3 Remaster

+I love me some Greek mythology
-No chapter select

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Pros
- Massive immersive world. 100+ hours of mature content.
- Characters and voice acting are terrific.
- Graphics, music, presentation all great

Cons
- The ending (lack of FMV, abrupt cutoff, PPT Slide, battle music for credits, etc...). Can be pretty bad based on inconsequential decisions in game.
- Combat can become simple no matter which builds you choose
- Performance optimization on PC is not the best and FMVs don't look great

Resident Evil Revelations 2
Pros
- Environments are creepy and created very well. A mansion again!
- Combat is fluid and easy to control. Good boss battles. Less action more horror than recent REs
- Characters are likeable (Claire Redfield again woot!) and story is pretty interesting.

Cons
- Repeating levels/areas between Barry and Claire. Not enough puzzles.
- FMV scenes don't look very good
- Variety in enemies gets stale

New Super Mario Bros U
Pros
- Classic Mario 2D side-scroller with vibrant, colorful, HD graphics. Fun items to use.
- Level design is top notch and unique throughout the game
- Length and extra levels provide enough content to satisfy

Cons
- Playing 2 player is extremely difficult
- Playing 2 player is extremely difficult
- Playing 2 player is extremely difficult

Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition

+ The combat system is the deepest and most rewarding I've ever seen in a game, plus there's 5 completely seperate characters for even more depth!

- The campaign is underwhelming. The backtracking is frustrating, the lack of new bosses for Dante/Trish/Vergil is noticeably annoying and Nero's story is pretty cliché.

Bloodborne

+ The atmosphere is off the charts. Areas like the Upper Cathedral Ward, Cainhurst Castle and Yah'arghul will forever be etched into my brain.

- There's a noticeable lack of different weaponry in the game. I kept with the axe from the start to the end and could take every boss easily.

Batman: Arkham Knight

+ Despite saying I'd be annoyed (story spoilers. Enter at your own risk)
if The Joker came back, I'm very glad he did. Even Hamill returned to deliver a fantastic (as usual) performance that trumps the rest of the cast.

- Hmm. There's a lot to be said, but I'm going to go with the completely wasted sidequests. With the exception of Riddler (who we're STILL gathering trophies for 4 games in), they're all dealt with in a couple missions and swept aside.
The villain Hush
is taken out in one move,
the villain Penguin
is taken out in one move,
the villain Two-Face
was taken out (in one move) and I didn't even realise it! Completely wastes the potential of these guys.

Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

+ A faithful remake of the original game, while adding something new.
+The expanded story was enjoyable.
+ The new Pokénav feature was fun.

-The games holds your hands and doesn't let go.
-Some changes are stupid, such as Granite Cave being redesigned and blocked off, the Battle Frontier not returning or the region being broken up into section.
-Lame excuse to why customizable trainer didn't return.

Splatoon

+ Fun addicting game that feels fresh.
+ The Inkling are interesting.
+ Playing in a team is fun.

- Weak single player content
- Extra content is locked away to Amiibo
- No off screen play

Kirby and the Power Rainbow

+ The game is just so cuuuuuuute! <(>_<)>
+ The music is sooo good. <(^_^)>
+ I love the little extra collectables that expands the adventure.

- Playing on the TV is difficult.
- The challenge room is hard
- There is no reason for Kirby to be in a ball.

This is one of my last 3 games beaten as well, and that part was great. I feel like the parts of Bayo 1 and 2 that deviate from the formula get too much flack, even if people dislike them, they're 15-20mins of a 10-12 hour game, hardly enough to ruin the experience

Anyway:

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Liked: The combat system, which I think is the best in the series. I also liked the way the narrative was set up with 3 characters, and how you needed to play them all to understand the entire plot
Disliked: The worlds were all pretty empty, but then again it was originally a PSP game

Batman: Arkham Origins
Liked: The story and art style were fantastic
Disliked: While it's a good game, it's almost exactly the same as City in terms of gameplay

Bayonetta 2
Liked: Everything, the combat feels so fluid and satisfying
Disliked: The Umbran climax was relied on a little too much, and I feel like the wicked weaves were nerfed because of it. It's also not as good as the first game, but that said, if Bayo 1 is a 10/10 then Bayo 2 is a 9.7/10

Darksiders:
+ The level/dungeon design was elaborate and interesting without being unnecessarily confusing.
- The game has a hint system, but the hints are utterly useless.

Assassin's Creed 1:
+ The verticality of the world was revolutionary for the time.
- Repetitive mission design.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
+I loved the way the modern day parts were handled. Lots of lore for those that care to see it, minimal engagement required for those that don't.
- Janky controls AC has become known for can be very frustrating.
