Wow, finished watching...
Amazing. Even though with load times, I can handle it, PSP trained me enough on portable loading.

The loadtimes are short (less than 2 sec), a way better than the 5 sec loadtimes of the last E3 Demo. The animations looks great too (the way the giant turtle moved was awesome) and the caracters/monsters modeling are nicely detailed, in other words, this game looks great! But as usual with the DS games, the textures sucks :\

Looks boring. Then again, it's a remake of one of the worst FF's.
All this time making such a great graphics engine for the DS and weapons don't even contact upon being attacked. Last edited by Himuro : 07-13-2006 at 06:58 AM. |

ah, doesn't matter. i'm more interested to see if they made enough fundamental changes so that the game doesn't suck. It'd be nice to finally get FFIII proper in English if they improved it enough. FFIII is one of the worst FF games because of all the issues it has, so it definitely needs a remake more than any other version.

The battles are boring with only one character, but the cinematic sequence at the end that shows some clever Dual-screen use is exciting, and I know when there's a full party the battles will pick up, too. Should be a damn good time -- my DS lite awaits it eagerly!
What's this about a delay, though? |

FFX does, due to the sphere grid, weapon/armor customization, CTB, and enemy types being weak to various weapon types. This made FFX an extremely addicting game. A great story added on made it better. Gameplay is the important thing here, but story can absolutely enhance a game. In that way, FFX trumps FFIII in spades. 2nd best FF. Most underrated main series FF. |

Just because the game created the job system doesn't mean it's necessarily a good game.
Just because FFV enhanced the job system doesn't mean it's a good game either. In fact, it's boring. FFT, FFX-2, FFX is the job system done right. |
