They're right. We got the very same info. Pretty odd they've got the very same ordering as I made it though (double XX's and the 'formerly known as').

It's a release schedule which is not definite yet. The official version will be available at the Games Convention.

Nice! Both come out much earlier than I thought.

There are no definite dates for the US for both these games yet, right?

Only YI2 on that list for me. And that's assuming that the game lives up to its wonderful heritage. Maybe Mario Basketball 3x3 if it turns out very good. I already own PW USA.

Where are FF3, ZPH, Portrait of Ruin, Mario vs. Donkey 2? december?

No GameCube games? I'm wondering if Super Paper Mario and Zelda will be Wii only in Europe. There would be no shelves left to sell them on GC by then!

Don't be suprised if you see English training come out in England. It'd be the best country for it!

Also: I assume Actionloop is Puzzloop/Magnetica/Whatever. Sudoku Grindmaster sounds interesting, always wanted to Grind them Sudokus...
No sign of Zelda, Star Fox, Mario vs Donkey Kong... NoE, I was starting to like you!

One last thing: Cooking Game? It might be Cooking Mama, but it was last mentioned as "Cooking Mama (Digital Bros)" on a release list... and I'd expect the Digital Bros developer/publisher thing to still be there.

It's the cooking game from Nintendo 'Talking Cooking Navi' is the popular name, the official name is still only in japanese, Shaberu! DS Oryouri Navi. The game is like a digital cookingbook, guiding you through receips (sp?) and such :)

Remember the interview with Nintendo of Spain's Nico Wegnez. He mentioned that English Training and Cooking Game would be released in Europe perhaps already this year.

On another note, he also talked about his thoughts of releasing Band Brothers in Europe like Singstar - a songlist for every country. There's hope for a EU-release still

Ah yes, I know that game... just confused about the name. Nintendo DS Cookbook or something similar would make much more sense. I'll be picking that one up.

:/ Source? I thought it was a weird interview, but never actually saw it called fake.

EDIT: From the topic,

Quote:
"The interview published with Nicolas Wegnez from Nintendo Spain, has been removed as it was containing misleading information. Nintendo has made no announcements concerning Wii launch dates or any potential software bundles. Nintendo does not comment on rumour and speculation."

But does that really makes it fake? I read it just as if have might have talked about information not yet finally decided at Nintendo, and not a fake interview.

Not just in english speaking countries. PW released in march in many european countries except for germany, because the people from NoE in germany think that their fans cannot speak/understand english

NoG never releases unlocated games, so that was the reason.

Yep, and this is a shitty reason for all fans who CAN speak/understand english. Nowadays everyone should understand at least the basics.

In the past there were many Gameboy titles without german language and i had no problems playing them, although i hadn't english in school until i was 11 years old.

By english speaking countries I mean countries that are perfectly fine with playing games in english, countries that doesn't have to have their games spoonfed to them.

The thing is, if they keep dubbing television and translating games.. they'll never learn either. They'll keep on living in their isolated bubble of german.

I was staying at a hotel in germany a while ago (NH Rheinhotel) and the hotel personnel didn't understand me when I asked them when they served the breakfast. And I'm talking girls that were around 25 years old. I had to use my rather limited german instead to make myself understood. And that's just sad in my opinion.

Here in Sweden you would never get a job at a hotel if you didn't speak at least english, preferably some other languages too.

Nintendo of Spain's Nico Wegnez did not mention anything new. What happened is that some people did a bad translation to English.I read the Spanish version and a English version and there were some mistranslations. In fact he mentioned a couple of times that he had no idea about the release date or price of wii

I have the French/English version of Phoenix Wright, it's bi-langual. I reckon that's because there was a French translation made for the Canadian version?

In Germany everyone has to learn English at School for at least 5 years, so I don't understand why they couldn't understand you, when they were so young. Some 80+ years olds didn't learn English, but everyone else should understand it.

Because they get paid to talk to foreigners, it's a damn hotel.. and quite a fancy one at that.

And I did speak german to them in the end, because I had to. Even though my german is rather rubbish.

Actually you have to learn at least english for 4 years in school... but that's not the point. A lot of people with low/middle education (compared to high school) I know speak next to no english.

I wouldn't know.. because I imported my copy of phoenix wright from japan. Simply because I don't like waiting for games, and particularly not because because some other countries refuse to play it in english. Not really my problem, I fail to see why I should suffer for it.

It looks as if their source was DS-X2.com. Why? They posted them already yesterday and an official press release wasn't given from NoE or Nintendo Germany. [They even use the same things in brackets -> (formerly known as Clubhouse Games) -> (früher bekannt als Clubhouse Games)]

Phoenix Wright was released with English and French language option all over Europe. Only Germany (and probably also CH and A) will get this translated version now.

And as you might have noticed, still no date for neither Metroid Prime Pinball nor Zelda.

We knew already that GC did not sell well in Spain but we did not know that Cooking Mama was coming.

So basicly the interview was removed because he said he asked for a band brothers localization and because he said cooking mama was coming?

I think it was removed because the English version said a couple of things he did not say, specially about launch date and price.

Phoenix Wright hasn't been released in Spain. Nico Wegnez said that they will not launch the game if it isn't in spanish, so if the game is being translated for German, then it may be too being translated in spanish. It's a good time for gaming :)

Because Nintendo want's EVERYONE to enjoy the game, and everyone doesn't know English. Also, it's a matter of respect for the country.

It's ok, just don't call the people who can't understand English retards, that's all I'm saying.

Also I think it's fine that people want to play games in their own language. Even if your English is decent, you will miss some humor/information in games with much text. And I'm glad that Phoenix Wright will be released in German, because it's a reason for me to finish it once more. :)

It's fine yes, but it's not fine to let all countries in europe wait for a game because a couple of countries have to have their games translated.

People in Sweden have no use of a game in german, spanish, italian, french and whatnot.. so why should they have to wait for the games to get translated into those languages?

Mind you, I'm not saying games shouldn't get translated at all.. but if it causes a delay, it shouldn't affect people that don't care about the translation in the first place. The best way would probably be to start translating games as soon as you have the script ready, then there wouldn't be any delays and the games could get released all over the world at the same time.
