I got the original Blue and found it to be a very fun and lighthearted game, but haven't touched the series since.. additions didn't seem interesting, got fed up with the pr machine. But it's time to give it another go.

Honestly, these starters look better than the R/S starters to me. Like someone mentioned a few posts back they remind me a lot of the R/B starter Pokemon in design. Hopefully the rest of the pokemon won't be as... generic-looking as most of the R/S Pokemon were. To me personally most of the R/S Pokemon were pretty forgettable, whereas I can still name practically every R/B generation Pokemon.

Also, water Owl/Bird/Penguin ftw.

It was a hint if you completed the game on the Yahoo website for the game - later they have decided to leave it at the grass/water/fire types. A few thought was going around dual-types some weeks ago, though.

If anyone cares, the Electabuzz evo is named "Elecbul" and the Roselia evo is named "Roserade".

Those'll probably change for an english release, though.

EDIT: Perappu has a weird attack called "Blabber". You record a small sentance, and then when Perappu uses Blabber, he repeats the sentance and confuses the enemy.

Contests now have three parts. The first is the visual part, where you must dress up your Pokemon to be judged. Second part is the dance segment, and third is the standard move appeal.

I was hoping we would get the Psychic/Fighting/Dark starters also. The fake ones posted a few days ago were awesome, but these are fine too. I am guessing Grass/(Rock or Ground), Fire/Normal, and Water/Flying. But unfortunatley there are already 50 Water/Flying types so they should have done something else. Gyarados, Pelipper, Mantine... there is only one Grass/Rock(Cradily) but no Grass/Ground. No Fire/Normal either

Don't you have anyone to trade with? With R/B and G/S, me and my brother traded back and forth until we both had all three starter Pokemon. He doesn't live anywhere near me right now, so I plan on doing the same thing again in D/P with a friend.
