Have a Japanese copy of FR/LG? Putting those in the GBA slot apparently make wild Magbies and Elekids appear in a few areas, carrying their evolution trade items.

I hope we don't need to end up plugging Sapphire in for any reason... don't have the Japanese version of that one.

Just caught Parukia. Man, I'm so pissed. I got the bastard down to 1 HP and threw my only Premier Ball as a joke. The ball shook 3 times then he burst out. It would have been more legendary to catch it in that ball than the Pokémon himself. :(

The game's difficulty recently "increased". They make you fight this outrageously long 2vs2 battle followed immediately by a boss battle whose Pokémon were all ~5 levels above mine. Granted, they fully restore your Pokémon before the second fight but you're not allowed to save in between. I hate when developers use these retarded methods of ramping up difficulty. Why not just boost the AI instead of forcing me to repeat the same battles over and over until I luck out on critical hits?

I have a nice tip for those finding the game too easy. A few days ago I decided to limit myself to a four-man squad which has not only made the game harder but also a lot more enjoyable as a result. The other two slots are taken up by my HM whore (saves me tons of time) and Pokémon Eggs for hatching.

Um, unless your stats really suck, a Pokemon 5 lvls above yours shouldn't be providing much problem...

You're right. Which is why I didn't say they were posing me problems. :P
I was complaining about the fact that they don't allow you to save before the battle - which to me is just a cheap way of increasing difficulty.

As I understand, you put a pokemon up for auction and then set criteria for another pokemon you want in return with regards to level and gender. Are there more options for criteria? Furthermore, are there two separate methods to the online trading, one bieng the way previously described and the other where you search for a poke and then look through your boxes/team for payment?

Go to Nomose City. Speak to the Galaxy member standing near the Safari Zone and he will run away. Continue East and speak to him again. Keep on doing this until he eventually fights you. After that speak to the girl standing by Lake Risshi and she will give you an item that will clear the Psyducks away.

Just another tip: after you've cleared the Psyducks you will have to cross a route covered in thick fog. To make things easier grab yourself HM 5 which can be found by speaking to the girl right by the Safari Zone entrance (inside the zone).

I've completed my Shinou Dex and I've caught the Legendary Trio. Now I'm off to catch the rest of the Legendaries. :)

To trade you go upstairs and keep on picking the first option until the women lets you in the random room...

Then you speak to the other person and they keep picking the first option until you get to a menu with pokemon.... It's easy from here.........
