Na`vi and MVP Phoenix nominated as the best e-sports teams? WutFace.
Phoenix at least had a good run at ti, Na'vi being nominated makes far less sense. It feels as if they just nominated some token teams like "oh, they won ti and everyone likes Na'vi so fuck it there's the nominees" type of deal.

Decent lists all around and nice memorial.

Also am I seeing things or is NBA 2K16 in the best writing category.

I thought the moment to moment writing was pretty solid in 2K16, the problem was the story itself and how it was implemented in the MyCareer mode. Maybe the award separates writing and story?

The names for the awards are pretty adorable. ^^. Glad to see witcher 3 still taking in awards. Boxboy for handhelds though? The stuff on the list was probably better, and to trails of cold steel for handhelds? They included trails in the sky(wrongly) in the best remaster, so they should have know about the series. Weird. That was my personal handheld game of the year with maybe record breaker being a close second.

Rare Replay doesn't actually qualify as a remake, but I'm glad to see it being recognized, so unfairly ignored right after release. Pleasantly surprised at Boxboy crowned for best handheld game, too!

shocker here is that 2k16 had two nominations

best acting
best writing

this has to be a fucking joke.....it is absolutely one of the worst written storylines I have ever played. I skipped as much as I could and Victor Van Lier? Seriously? Terrible character.

it has to be filler lol

I like how this award ceremony seemingly comes out of no where and does more right than all the other award shows we are familiar with.

Undertale losing best music to fucking MGS, BB not even being nominated, and someone actually thought Chloe was Best Acting material since it was nominated... just lol.

Yeah, MGSV only has one noteworthy original theme. The licensed tracks definitely carry it, but Sins of the Father is used terribly. I don't really care for Chloe either.

How in the world was Bloodborne not nominated for best music?

Obviously these noobs weren't gud inuuf to get to
Upper Cathedral Ward
.

I'm just joking, apart from that track and the final boss I don't consider Bloodborne's music to be all that good (it should've won everything else, though). Ori definitely deserved to win Best Music, though I admit I haven't finished the mess that is MGSV.

Golgo 13

The Man With The Golden Dong
A step in the right direction for dignifying the process of acknowledging the artistic accomplishments of gaming. With all due respect to other attempts, this seems like a more esteemed process, in my view.
