Rescue points available again in Primordial. Rescue number 5396-2623-1216.

Equipped a cursed tin shield and I have some decent equipment for synthing but I can't mitigate the damage at floor 10 :(

In the middle of a run at the moment but will give it a shot afterwards.

Thanks :)

Err, the unfortunate thing is, I just died again on floor 11...

Can someone revive me again? 3296-6672-4997.

Seriously need to find a way to get rid of this cursed shield...

Got you, you weren't kidding, you got a really nice seed. Multiple heal/synthesis pots, gaze/swap/day/targite.

Sigh, despite my best efforts, I got dumped into a monster house a few floors down and died. I gave up this time (realised the pot I had was sealed anyway).

Started anew and died on floor 9. More points on offer (0606-3287-7762). Got a plated Fuuma Shield but no food to be seen aside from a peach on the lone island that needs a Zakoleft pot or desert scroll.

This man does his research.

I'm assuming you were rescued as the code didn't work.

old road is kicking my ass.

another worst death: used a staff beside the merchant. ofc it had to blow up with electricity. game can be real cruel.

I was just about to give up on being rescued in Primordial and was ready to select the give up button. It was a good thing I checked for revival spells beforehand though!

Once I revived, I just ran through the rest of the dungeon, throwing talismans all over the place and...

I finally made it! Now I can start working on another dungeon (and the statue cave).

finally cleared the bizarre dungeon!
starting with the 10 monster house floors
was key for me, as they're a good way to get a lot of different items early on and they're just too dangerous later on. saving the
night floors
for last seems good too, since with the right
abilities
the level of the monsters don't seem to matter much.

I finished it a few days ago as well, though I
took the 7 monster houses, then the 4 no health regen floors first and went from there
.

Outside of Inori cave, the 99 floor mansion and Statue Cave, I don't know if there's another dungeon I'm missing...

I'm also still struggling to find the last rock. I'm guessing there's a monster you need to kill in a certain way to get it.

my succ. route for bizarre tower was
equipment 3, pot 1 or 3, monster house 3, didn't want to do more monster house without walls, thats what killed me alot. then anything to avoid starving, non regen floor whenever i got enough healing stuff. nighttime for last.

fun, but the hardest so far for me.

So happy that I finally finished Old Road. I was kinda bummed out when I lost the sisters and Gen. Now I just can't imagine how much harder the other dungeons will be.

Man... I need a good roguelike right now. Sadly I don't have the cash for this right now, but from what people have been saying it looks like what I need.

Do we know what each of them provides?

Seraphis Cain

bad gameplay lol
You know what's painful?

Your first death in the main dungeon (I'd died in the minesweeper dungeon a buncha times because of course) being against
Reeva
.

=/

So i died for the first time at night on 10F of Fortune Tower. It asked if I wanted to wait for aid, so I selected "yes" and it sent me back to the main menu. What do I do now? How do I get a code? Thanks!!!

For the main story towers you can only wait for aid which requires ad hoc connection. So you'd need somebody to be next to you with the game to rescue you.
Later in the post game dungeons you can post a rescue message and code that people can use to rescue online.
It's pretty annoying.

I'm on mobile but iirc someone on GameFAQs posted a list of the post-game dungeons from easiest to hardest. There's also the DLC dungeons accessible from the Woman in the Game Room.

What? Do you mean the 18 Challenge Dungeons or is there literally a DLC with even more?

Well as playing Shiren is my only reason to own a Vita, feel free to add "lordgek2" if wanting to message on all things Shiren related.

Would love to find that list, I was a little burned out after beating the main campaign, but I still love the game, and will love to try its biggest challenges

Was it this bit I found on GameFAQs?

Shiren Post-Story

1. Inori Cave - After beating the main game, it will be accessible in the Starter's House (It's the house where you can take tutorial stages).

2. Lost Well - Talk to the Sparrow in the lower left area of the Sparrow Inn (this is located in Sparrow Village, the place reached before going to Miracle Tower 4F).

3. Gen's Turf - Talk to the old lady in Inori Village (second house from the left) and you should receive a Catnip Juice. Bring that to Gen (the cat man). Go clear a dungeon and come back to his place and you will notice a shining pot.

4. Pitfall of Life - Reach the top of Fortune Tower with Kojirota in your party (he must not die along the way). When you return to the village, go to the Elder's House to see the event to unlock the dungeon.

5. Heavenly Lake - After beating the main story, talk to the old man with the boat in the lower right part of Nekomaneki Village.

6. Old Road - Level Kon and Gen to Level 10, then level up Koharu's Sword to 2nd rank. Once all those conditions are satisfied, go to the hotel to see an event. Afterwards. go to Gen's House and examine the challenge letter on the ground. To access the dungeon, go to the entrance of Inori Village.

7. Bizarre Tower - Reach the top of the Miracle Tower with Tao in your party (she must not die along the way). You also need to see the event with her in the Sparrow Inn and this will not occur if you bring the Sparrow with you along the way (it's a random NPC in the dungeon and he will ask you if you can escort him to the village, just don't take him). After beating the tower with her, go back to the entrance of the 3 towers and talk to Tao and she can escort you to the tower.

8. Onigiri Hollow - There are too many steps to unlock this dungeon. First, you need to talk to a girl in Nekomaneki Town (IIRC it's the girl just outside the hotel), then leave for a dungeon then come back and talk to her. Talk to the blonde guy in the upper left area of Nekomaneki Town. Then go to a dungeon and come back (you can simply just go to Destiny Road and use an Escape Scroll). You will basically have to talk to this guy (and do whatever he says) and then go to a dungeon then return to the village and talk to him again, repeat the same steps several times until you reach the end of the chain of event. Once you see the last event, the dungeon will be open to you.

9. Primordial Chasm - This is the second hardest dungeon in the game. After beating the game, go to the blacksmith's house in Hermit's Retreat for an event. After the event, the dungeon should now be accessible.

10. Destiny's Descent - This is the hardest dungeon in the game, where you start at level 1 and all items found are unidentified. Prepare to experience all the unfair abilities of the monsters in the game (like that rabbit that will teleport you (anywhere you are) and all the monsters in the floor to the same area, closely together to boot lol, or that dragon that can spew fire at you anywhere you are in the map). Anyway, to access the dungeon, gather 7 different cat stones, bring them to the old man in Inori Cave and make a wish. It should be the last option I believe (it says something about "I want to challenge a much difficult dungeon"). The entrance to the dungeon is in the entrance to the 3 towers.

About one of those conditions, what happens if I already escorted the NPC to its house?

I did it on the main campaign, and for the way that is worded, it make it seem like I can't do that quest without reseting the game anymore.

And by the way, thanks for taking the time to post those here

I just forwarded a juicy post from GameFAQs, and know nearly nothing myself (I've only played a few days so far).

Having a blast with the post story dungeons like Gen's Turf where you get to both use traps against and convert baddies into allies (although I don't think ally buddies use their abilities vs, other monsters).
