I'm in the same boat as SuperPac.
I'm much more interested in TG16 games than other VC games because I've never played them. Well I played Adventure Island games on NES/SNES. ONe of the two I forget but I only rented it and never finished them. One thing I do know is that Bomberman 94 is supposed to be the shiznit and we get stuck with Bomberman 93. |

Bomberman 93 isn't bad. Bomberman 94 never got localized, which is probably why we're not getting it.
Adventure Island is a good launch title though. At least if Hudson is talking about the Wonder Boy III/Monster World II/Dragon's Trap/Dragon's Curse game (what a mess that series is). |

The only "NES Adventure Island-style game" for the Tubo was New Adventure Island, which I'm sure we'll see eventually. Yes, it's confusing. :) |

Deamentia,
Does this mean Europe is actually getting TG16 titles after all? As there's a conspicuous absence of the system on the Euro Wii site seeing as we never got the console in this territory the first time around, but the press release maintains Hudson's TG16 games will be released in Europe. Is this actually the case, or a mistake? |

This is PC Engine Adventure Island. As you can see it's nothing like the NES Adventure Island. It's really Wonder Boy III: Dragon's Trap/Monster World II.
![]() ![]() Which was localized as Dragon's Curse in the US. Note that the US Turbo version was released before the PC Engine version, which is strange: ![]() And this is the actual sequel to the NES Adventure Island series, New Adventure Island on the Turbo: ![]() ![]() The Wonder Boy series is convoluted enough without the additional confusion caused by Hudson's Adventure Island series as well as their renamings of all the ports of the actual Wonder Boy games that Hudson did for the Turbo/PC Engine. |

If you count the unlicensed porno ones, I think there were about 900 or so. I got into the 600s in an attempt to collect every one before I gave up. |

deamentia, are Nintendo IP blocking the Wii? If I import a US Wii to the UK, will I be able to download from the US Virtual Console shop? Also (although I think this has already been confirmed as no but I'm asking just in case) will the European Wii be able to download games from the US and JPN Virtual Console shop?
Also are there any plans to localise the games that never made it outside of Japan? Do you have any idea of what other companies are doing in regards to localising Japan only releases? Please tell me, this is vital in regards to which version of the Wii I will purchase! Thanks in Advance! |

Super Star Soldier is soooooooo mine.
is Victory Run any good? I kinda missed out on the whole TurboGraphix 16 thing back in the day. Heck, I've never even seen one in person.
