No bullshit bundle and a full 75 cents cheaper! Thank you Wal-Mart for launching the system intelligently. Now I won't have to camp out over night and instead can spend that time playing Twilight Princess. :) |

20 is the minimum for regular stores. If X360 is any indication, supercenter stores will get 3X that amount, if not more. Although X360 didn't have as many systems at launch. So maybe somehwere between 40 to 60 for supercenter stores may be more accurate. |

This is fairly good news. We've got two Wal-Marts in my "metro area." One is in Fargo, and that's a supercenter. The other is in Moorhead, just across the river, and that place is a ghetto shithole. Fargo one, due to North Dakota law, must be closed between the hours of midnight & 6 am on Sundays (for "Sabbath" apparently, but The Wal-Mart never sleeps). So I'm going to try my luck at the shithole. Got a couple of friends coming with, hopefully. Should be good times!

I'll be checking early in the AM and then periodically. Once there's a line, I'll be in it. I tried the Wal-mart on Serene (Green Valley) and the one on Trop and Pecos both about 5 PM for the X360 launch, and they'd been "full" at that point for hours. And they got a lot of 360s, relatively speaking...I think it was over 50.
I ended up waiting overnight at Fry's and getting stuck with a bundle. Fry's got 60+ 360's. |

It's not every day that there's a whole crowd of people who 'get' what you're talking about if you say you like Monkey Ball. :-) |

The type of people Wal-Mart attracts in the Philadelphia area during the day is pretty scary. I don't think I want to hang around at midnight and see who shows up. I wish we could find out who is getting the most shipped out of the non-preorder stores like Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, BestBuy, CircuitCity, etc so I know which one to camp out at.
