When there's a movie made about life in Cali, and this is the supporting role, this is expected.

That's what happened with me during the Toysrus PS3 preorders. I got there around 12:00 saturday, and then people were like "Oh Snap! I better get in on dis!"

The climate is too good around here.. everyone's willing to camp. Except me, because I prefer to have some dignity (and, more importantly, hope to be working by the 17th).

I'm so glad I have a pre-order and don't have to do that; I can't wait to walk by all the smelly campers next Friday.

This is amazing. I wonder if there is a line forming at the best buy near my house. I am too lazy to wait in line anymore. I already pre-order one at EB. I guess I will be content with that.

Those of us getting a Wii can just walk into a store on launch day and get one. I couldn't imagine having to line up for 2 hours, let alone 9 days for a video console system.

Now the console could never live up to their hopes. Imagine living on pavement for nine days - the console could only disappoint once you finally get it.

That's what I'm saying. I only showed up 2 hours before the store opened and was 2nd in line. So camping for 9 days is better than standing in line for a few hours?

It makes you wonder are they actually doing it to guarantee themselves a system or just to sell it on Ebay?

To be fair most people who follow message boards were tipped off. The rest of the public didnt have ANY notice until after oct 10th. damn EB newsletter.

Worst would be the BB employees either bought them or stole them all.
