Cruis'n USA could be compared to Cruis'n for the Wii in some ways -- the game's entire content consists of "drive through each of the tracks from the arcade version once and get first place and you're done". World and Exotica added a bunch of additional modes and unlockables to add a bunch of playtime, but the first one didn't have that... nothing to unlock (there are hidden cars, but you just access them via cheat code), no additional modes. I'd say that at $5 or less Cruis'n USA would be a fine purchase for anyone who likes '90s style arcade racing games, but $10... yeah, that is a bit more questionable. I enjoyed the game, for the couple of hours (max) that it lasted, but I didn't pay $10... I paid somewhere around $3 for it. Whether the game is worth purchasing for VC or not depends first on if you like Cruis'n games (and despite the mountains of hatred they get now, they were very, very popular arcade games, and for good reason) and second if you don't mind buying games that won't last long but are fun while they last, and don't want the N64 cart version (which you could probably get the N64 version of (online, including shipping) for less than the VC version costs...). |

M.U.S.H.A., Dracula X, and PS3 would be major for April here in the US. I would go so far as to say I would forgive VC for the entire beginning of the year for those three games.
I have a confession. ANY TIME I have messed around with genesis emulators, musha is one of the first games I always play. I did own it at some point, but was young and simply couldn't pass up selling it at the time for like $35!! |

I can't highlight spoiler text on my iPhone, is that Dracula X Rondo of Blood or is it the SNES one?!!! (Please be ROB!)
Would be great to have a perfectly emulated English version instead of the imperfect PSP one! Edit: It is ROB, sweeeeet! Oh and to the post below this one, the VC version is still by far the best one you can get (Even over the original and the PSP one) filter or not!Last edited by Nuclear Muffin : 03-28-2008 at 01:57 PM. |

M.U.S.H.A. has been one of my most wanted Genesis games. This is great news. Hopefully a US release isn't far behind.
As for Dracula X, I will not be downloading it unless the TG-16 emulation is somehow fixed. They're giving us what is apparently one of the great 2-d games, but they won't let us see the pixel art in its true form, through their vaseline filter.

Hey guys,
I just bought a Japanese Wii off of a fellow GAFfer (it should arrive next week!). I wanted it primarily for VC and WiiWare...is there anything I need to know about using a JPN console in the US? I heard that you can use a US credit card via this thread...so I think I'm set. |

I'm not sure if I'll get Rondo of Blood or not. On the one hand, it's a great game, one of the best Castlevania games out there. It would also be nice to not have to play it on the little PSP screen. Still...I already own it.
I'll probably get it just to support imports, if nothing else. That and...hey. It's a great game. |

Like, you know, Dragon Slayer, Final Soldier, Ys Book I & II, Gleylancer, Mega Turrican, Shining Force II, and Super Fantasy Zone. If I can't trust that that stuff's coming, there's not much else left to trust. |
