Sounds legit to me and makes sense given its hardcore sci-fi setting. I think maybe E3 2017 we are finally gonna get our first look at this bad boy

Didn't they already have like 300 or more people working on Witcher 3? Doubling or tripling that would be a huge team.

Real talk. If they nail the cyberpunk feel, and blow us away with gameplay this could be my most anticipated game. I'm really worried about story or dialogue

Not if they want to work on multiple projects at the same time.

Right, but Deus Ex has a zillion vehicles in trailers, none of which you can control in the game.

Yep they've already basically said they are turning into a multi-team, multi-project studio. They are going to need the staff.

I fully expect Witcher 4 to hit within 2 or 3 years of Cyberpunk. Pretty sure its already in pre-production there with another team.

...they're making this seem like a colossal undertaking, even for the studio that developed Witcher 3. Hope they're not overworking or underpaying their employees.

Not very hopeful though...

I wonder if the entire game will be spoiled/revealed through job postings. Maybe the game itself will be all about doing jobs from job postings and this is some form of meta-advertisement.

I'd interpret the OP as them wanting to double or triple the size of their Krakow studio specifically, which is not their main studio. No idea how large this studio is, but since they mention increasing the gameplay team there from two to six people, I'd say it's rather small at this time. No game development studio in their right mind would triple the number of their overall employees in such a short amount of time. That seems like a recipe for disaster.

It's been in active development for over three years now (Eurogamer visited CDPR in Autumn [Sep-Nov] 2013 -- eight+ months after the release of the teaser trailer, which doubled as a recruitment drive -- and noted that the team was 50 people strong). Mid-late next year isn't outside the realm of possibility, but 2018 with a potential slip into 2019 strikes me as far more likely.
