Sweet.

Does this mean the FF12 numbers do not include the Collectors Edition? Can we get a total with FF12 including the CE?

Only for certain numbers. It's cool that NPD is actually providing numbers to us though

I'm curious, why did they not track FF XII LE? I thought they had tracked other GS/EB exclusive LE stuff before?

I'm impressed (and happy) that GH2 sold so well. Especially considering its high price point.

Okay, whoooa.

Couple things.

a) Why no PSP hardware? Isn't GameSpot and others reporting it?

b) Did I read wrong before in that we'd get a top 20 w/ units?

c) Is it possible to get GCN and XBX numbers?

I don't have anything really new to say at this point, so I'll just note once again how hysterical the PS3 numbers are, especially after all the lofty ambitions. Sony handed MS a giant gift this year, with these shortages during the holidays.

And thanks to NPD for the data. Going forward I think this is enough for a good disucssion, though PSP numbers would be nice.

It's weird to me, because it feels so out of the spotlight.. but it still keeps racking of up the sales. What's it at in Europe.. nearly 5 million or something insane?

Could someone please provide Xbox 360 LTD numbers? I know 3.8 million was originally reported, but I guess that was retracted. So, I'd assume if someone had last month's LTD, one could just add this month to get the number. Thanks.

Question: how much of the data that was discussed in the past can we continue to talk about? For example, many of us have hardware sales by month and do comparisons that way. Would saying, "Well, the XBox sold XYX in December 2002" by means of comparison be okay, or is referencing that older data off limits under the new agreement?

Good question, what's the NPD's view of posting previous month's data? Or from a year ago, or five, ten years ago...?
