The trailer is in Japanese and not the best quality. Not sure if this was posted before, but I found it interesting. The 2 new characters look like are going to be a nice addition to the Tekken roster imo. Those stances from Zifana looks awesome. Now, these are some rumors I've heard that supposedly materialized from this interview. I am only the messenger, so if
these are mostly inaccurate, don't shoot me.

*Leo has been confirmed to female by the director. Hmmm....Not sure? We'll see.

The very idea that this has been a hot topic all over the net is a tad perturbing.

*Leo's martial art style is similar to Akira's in VF but with her own original style added.

*Leo is also similar to Paul(Paul's daughter??) and was made to attract people who are new to the franchise.

*There will be more than 2 new characters. I think I saw one of them in the promotional trailer and it appears to be another girl who has a fighting style that resembles Lion from Virtua Fighter.

*Was that Lei in the trailer? Sure looked like it to me.

*Stages will be very different from previous tekken and will have lots of strategic usage.

*Customization is going to be a huge part of the game.

*Characters will obviously receive new moves and new motions to make the game feel fresh.

*I've heard the game is right now only 15% which I think is somewhat believable.

though, Tekken 5 DR still looks artisticly better then what we have seen so far from the T6 early stuff.
More poly and higher res textures doesn't mean better art. T5DR on PSN is a gem and T6 has allot of work ahead of it to best it

I didn't translate it. Someone else did, but some of htis also comes from some of my observations looking at the footage a few times. I've also heard that some of the customizable items are going to be for more than just looks, but I think was already known by some folks here. Maybe Julia will throw a tomahawk or Paul will juggle you with beer cans?

As mentioned, I think these items will only be part of combos.

I don't speak Japanese either, so I can't help on the translation, but it was nice to see just a little bit more uninterupted/quick-spliced footage of the game.

I think there's still alot we've to hear about this game yet. I'd be really surprised if this game makes a 2007 release on either the arcade or the PS3.

And while I may be a lone crusader about this.... we've still to see just how this new variant PS3 arcade chip set and potentially CELLIUS fit into this puzzle.

My own crack pot theory? CELLIUS will co-develop (or solely develop it, depending on how you look at it) the game with NAMCO. Apparently CELLIUS opens it's doors for business on the 6th of MARCH. But that date isn't significant. I mean, it's not like Phil Harrison has his GDC key note speech the very next day....

The series already had devil/angel characters shooting laser beams out of their eyes since the second installment. Tekken had already jumped the shark way the fvck back as far as I'm concerned.
