Links are good, if they actually link.
Censored links, not so much.

On topic: WTF. Walking is good.
This is the kind of app that would make me want to put my DS on the ground and do my walking exercizes on it DDR style.

Considering how a lot of Japanese can't walk elegantly...I think this software will do some good :lol

I've seen hot women who...turn out to be bow-legged or just can't walk jack (drag their feet, etc)...it's unfortunate, and a turn-off.

lifestyle software - i'd actually be a little interested if this had (for instance) suggested walking routes around Tokyo where you could clock your time and keep a track of how much you are walking - i might even start walking to work again (a good 40 minutes or so hike...)

Walking is big business! I used to work at Radioshack and we could never keep those things that measured steps taken/calories burnt in stock. If this software can do those things, soccer moms will be mighty pleased.

Oh, I've got bad news for you - half the women walk that way on purpose. It's actually seen as attractive by many... =/

Though the bow-legged thing is kind of sad, it's not going to get changed by the DS.

Well, probably not.

I don't know if this is truly so silly: nordic walking is quite popular in Europe, after all.

To quote good ol' Wikipedia:

Nordic walking, also known by ski walking, pole walking or fitness walking is a sport consisting in walking with modified ski poles.

It has developed quite a popularity over here in Germany and has become rather mainstream as a relatively low-cost easy-to-enter fitness spot which is less taxing than jogging or aerobics (but can be done in addition to) - its often a group activity, too - but it is faster paced and a tad more strenous than standard hiking.

Groups of Germans with pointy sticks marching up and down the streets, sounds harmless and not at all cause for concern :(

Get ready to laugh, then. I think I sold more than 1k pedometers myself at Radioshack, and given the DS audience in Japan...this could sell 100k easily, and nearing a million isn't necessarily out of the question either.
