Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo out Apr 27 in Japan on PSN

Can be found in this week's JP mag thread but needed it's own, I think.

The demo will be a free download on PSN from 27 April in Japan.
It will contain a stage (stages?) different from the final game, and it has online scoreboards.
Players notch up "karma" in the game, and that is what goes into the online ranking.

Full game out 14 June for 7800 yen.

Where did I say "new levels"? It's just different from the final version, that's all. It may be limited for the demo or something like that. THP8 demo was different too :)

Damn, i need a HDTV soon... only 50Hz output on SDTVs is horrible, because some US-/JP-demos are only playable in b/w although my SDTV can handle 60Hz. :(

It's not a demo.
That's all there is to it.
Toro just loiters around the apartment all day if u leave the PS3 on.
Everyday, you can download new episode of him talking with the black cat. At the end, you get to spin a roulette that earns you food reward (which looks mightly delicious >.>; ) for Toro.
It also comes with some furnitures u can furnish the apartment with, along with some you can purchase off JPN PSN.

This is the kind of thing I wish more companies would do (but I know why they don`t): create a demo that exhibits the main qualities of the game, but isn`t actually any section of the game proper.

Great news overall but I'm still kind of upset that this isn't going to be universal(for now at least). If the game is also coming to NA and Europe in June then both should also get demos by late April or early May. I hope Sony can work with 3rd parties some more about getting more demos up in every region.

For now, yes. It used to have Ridge Racer demo, but that became available on the US store eventually.

Nope, it's only in the JP store.

The games are in the menu that you pull up. I'm not home so I can't check, but it should be labeled as ゲーム or something like that. The one on the top is the Brain Ranking, and the one on the bottom is the Brain Battle. The daily Ranking would probably be tough for somebody who can't read Japanese cause the last part is about spelling in hiragana, but there are separate sections you can practice on for the other parts. The Brain Battle is pretty easy, but it's hard finding a match sometimes :(

Hey, it's less than a month. ;)

I thrive off the demos though! Hitting a dry spot with money so I have to be very careful with what I purchase. I really want to pick up F1, MotorStorm and/or Oblivion but I just can't afford it. Resistance is helping, but I've already played through it and the MP is sort of getting under my nerves.

Maybe it's just the fact that the best action game is coming to the PS3 is a true next-generation form.
