Ha not at all. She's just really hot, and that comes with a lot of competition, and after the initial consideration of looks, it just comes down to his game.
In hindsight it was a stupid statement, given that I'm completely discounting his relationship with her and their compatibility prior to them dating which is probably more important than anything else. |

I was so opposed to D+D until I became friends, and then moved in, with these guys. It's basically chess with some complexity and imagination layered on. That's an insult to chess, however, since chess is infinitely strategic because of its small, time-tested set of mechanics.

When I played, it was dice, graph paper, pencils, and guide books ... that's it! Looks like it has come a long way :P |

The D+D board games, which they bought, are for when we don't have, like, 6 hours to play real D+D. (We don't have tonnes of time anymore with busy schedules, jobs, etc etc.) |

Ya D&D has indeed changed, especially with the new edition where they purposefully pushed for a more mini-based system(got to make cash and all). We usually play with our character sheets, the rulebook and decks of cards(much better than dice). And that's about it except for a fucking metric ton of food, snacks, alcohol. But each to their own, I am just glad people still enjoy social interaction like that. As for significant others and playing I have had amazing luck with only 1 GF in my life not into it. Most ended up playing once I started comparing it to things they enjoyed like theater, or hanging out with friends, or telling a story around a campfire. Plus a beer or 2 can help:) |

It's like Dungeons & Dragon's Souls. Super hard, but when you beat it, you feel awesome. Anyway, enough D+D+Derailing! |
