yeah the pc version in some ways (not resolution) looked worse than the ps2 version. it used the ps2 version and basically had flat lighting up until this point.
what's been fixed is the lighting and if i'm not mistaken they've added some fog too, which really helps with the atmosphere of the outside areas. |

If I remember correctly its that room before the laser-traps. When you go up to the chair it gives you the option to "sit down" and that little scene pops up. Nothing special.
Edit: I'm blind, I was beaten. Post-edit: I don't understand why they would release the game in its original form (no lighting?) and then patch it soon after magically unlocking the lighting. WTF were they thinking? |

I started replaying it on the PS2 a little while ago, but held off for this. Now I can play in 1080p glory. Haven't played much of it yet but it seems to run smooth so far. Looks like the only really jarring thing left is the prerendered cutscene vids.

Finally bought a new PSP, but then pushed the demon onto someone else. Jesus.

Perfectly able to grasp the inherent value of the fishing game.

My word, who made this patch, Ubi or Capcom? it's like they had their entire production budget doubled post the game going gold or something, night and day difference, if it weren't for the fact that I am committed to RE4Wii I would get this, much, much better.
