Hmm based off of HoTD III huh?
Loses some of the charm when the characters are wielding shotguns and not keyboards. The first game is fantastic, a required purchase for DC/PC/etc owners. |

It's not like QWERTY is all that logical anyway. olubode, no game on X360 uses the keyboard for gameplay now, but that could be implemented quite easily. |

Um the 360 supports keyboards for gameplay. I grabbed some cheapo $20 usb keyboard from Wal-mart and it works just fine on FFXI. It wasn't exactly perfect but I'm blaming it on the cheapo keyboard and possibly something crazy about the framerate and keyboard inputs that causes me to type the same letter twice for no reaason.
It also makes general 360 stuff(sending messages, inputting fields) so much easier. Mouse + keyboard is still a dream though.

This aspects seems to be carried over well in TOTD2 as words are strung together over multiple zombies to have the same effect. #2: Words like "Kayensoaguassokoyiori" go right over my head, I imagine I'd get slaughtered trying to play the JPN version of this. This makes it a bit hard to play since the game is not customized to these kinds of keyboards and is in fact using the qwertz setup - this means you have to type "z" to write "y". But as you might know you have to type blind and FAST, which can be quite confusing. Now this patch would not have to change the words at all, but change the keyboard setup for the game, so it resembles the german qwertz keyboard. Back then I was kind of used to typing z for y, since I was playing the US version of PSO on DC for quite some time. But nowadays I'm just not used to typing like this any more. |
