PC!? Bah! I have two Dreamcast Keyboards sitting idly by my TV, ready to be used again. Just give me this game and all will be forgiven.

You clearly haven't played the original. Trying to type extremely fast with that tiny keyboard, zombies closing in on you... Do not want!

360/PS3 both support usb keyboard right? Shouldn't be a problem.

I BOUGHT A SECOND DC KEYBOARD FOR THIS GAME.

HOW AWESOME?

It would be tough to type that fast on that small keyboard.

I never knew about this game. Cool concept. There should be web based version of this game. Does it exist?

Love part 1, got the PC version, might just install it again right now... only downside for me is that it's setup for qwerty keyboards, and I use a qwertz keyboard.

Maybe there's a patch to fix this...

Hmm based off of HoTD III huh?

Loses some of the charm when the characters are wielding shotguns and not keyboards.
The first game is fantastic, a required purchase for DC/PC/etc owners.

Oh I loved the original to death. I can type pretty fast on a tiny keyboard, but yah, I just want this game to come out here no matter what.

I like the all caps excitement.

I want this on my X360. I just don't think it would even be possible to use that tiny keyboard. My hand hurts just thinking about it.

(I hate two DC keyboards too... )

PS3 has official USB keyboard support. Even though 360 has usb's, IIRC keyboards are not enabled to work.

That would be a hell of a patch. The game has real words, though they sound like gimmerish in the context they fall in. Someone would have to come up with different words for every enemy to take advantage of your "special" needs.

I've never used a Kezboard, it is really that much harder to type certain words? It's not like QWERTY is all that logical anyway.

olubode, no game on X360 uses the keyboard for gameplay now, but that could be implemented quite easily.

Um the 360 supports keyboards for gameplay. I grabbed some cheapo $20 usb keyboard from Wal-mart and it works just fine on FFXI. It wasn't exactly perfect but I'm blaming it on the cheapo keyboard and possibly something crazy about the framerate and keyboard inputs that causes me to type the same letter twice for no reaason.

It also makes general 360 stuff(sending messages, inputting fields) so much easier.

Mouse + keyboard is still a dream though.

Dahym though, looks ****ing hard in that video though! My feeble fingers can't keep up with that!

#1: Yep. HOTD 3 uses a shotgun as opposed to the handgun from HOTD 1/2(or an SMG from HOTD4 for that matter). Thus enemies tend to be grouped together so you can take out multiple zombies in a single shot. This aspects seems to be carried over well in TOTD2 as words are strung together over multiple zombies to have the same effect.

#2: Words like "Kayensoaguassokoyiori" go right over my head, I imagine I'd get slaughtered trying to play the JPN version of this.

Well here in germany we use a setup for keyboard that has the "z" and the "y" switched (plus the letters ä/ö/ü/ß, but these don't matter, but the keyboard is just setup a bit different for other symbols like :/'/#/=/...). This makes it a bit hard to play since the game is not customized to these kinds of keyboards and is in fact using the qwertz setup - this means you have to type "z" to write "y". But as you might know you have to type blind and FAST, which can be quite confusing.
Now this patch would not have to change the words at all, but change the keyboard setup for the game, so it resembles the german qwertz keyboard.

Back then I was kind of used to typing z for y, since I was playing the US version of PSO on DC for quite some time. But nowadays I'm just not used to typing like this any more.

Just as Gigglepoo mentioned earlier in this thread, there's no keyboard support in 360 games (I don't know if that's true for a game like FFXI as well though, must be a pain if that's the case).
But you can plug in a USB keyboard to type messages to your friends.
