I have the game and I can honestly say the requirements are insane.
I'm Running a Dual Core 3.4,1.5 Gigs of DDR2 533 and my one weak link is a 6800gt video card and it runs like ass. even when not on high settings and on what i consider very mediocre resolution. |

I even tested spiderman at 800x600 with all settings at low and it would still chug. its a horrible port |

Splinter Cell: DA had 3.0 shader requirements as well. I think Rainbow 6 Vegas falls under the same specs. People were throwing the same fit when the 2.0 requirements started showing up, as did the 1.1 shaders. It's nothing new, really.
Crap pc ports are the rule rather than the exception these days. *shakes fist at Ubisoft* |

Does that sound like someone who is paid or even trusted to write cohesive game reviews? |

I don't see what's the issue here.
The hardcore PC gaming crowd is supposed to have all the cutting edge 1337 hardware that should run SM3 smooth as butter. For the rest of us peasants, we'll just fall back on the 360 or PS3 versions. |
