Alright, attended a presentation of this game last Wednesday, saw my Belgian neighbour and buddy MicVlad there too (get some more sleep man :p) and we were given some nice and cool confirmations. Oh yeah and: Lock if old, but from my understanding Mic said something about it in a topic that wasn't looked at that much. But here goes, some more indepth info on the stuff we can expect from this game.
Slaughtermode: Basically your typical deathmatch. Only this time with minions, and that is going to be a mess. Especially with the amount of minions you can command (a maximum of fifty i the Singleplayer portion) and the amount of enemies the game can portray on screen at the same time. Which is about 80, so better be prepared for a lot of megabattles.
Co-op: It's you against the world baby, litterally. Well, you and a friend that is. Try to survive the amount of enemies this mode will throw against you. And it will be everything but the kitchen sink from my understanding.
Plunder Challenge: Loot, pillage, rifle and plunder. Grab your hands on everything you can get, or rather let your minions do it. The one with the most loot will win ofcourse, so better protect your 'investments'.
Those are the three confirmed modes we can expect so far, and ofcourse these are not their final names. And to add to the fun is the confirmation that Triumph Studios (Dutch pride baby, yeah! XD) will add some fuel to the fire in the shape of new multiplayer maps and a whole new chapter sometime after the release of the game. This will add new monsters to the 25 already present ones, a new area and of course a whole new load of items and weapons.
This is sounding nice, multiplayer in this game could be verry fun to play :D
I think if this game gets a good 360 demo, then it could really take off. I plan on getting it for the PC, but those multiplayer modes look great for some lightweight fun. Especially co-op.
Sounds great! Go Triumph!
PC version for the win.
