Do you know what's fantastic? Just how stupid the decision to even produce this console in the first place was. We'll look back and never have a kind word to say about the Elite; it's done nothing but harm Microsoft, and confusing people with a more expensive version of a console in a market which gains pretty much nothing from a large hard drive and really doesn't have huge HDTV usage as it is...it's all completely misguided. The mentality at Microsoft is so tech driven that they're ****ing themselves over trying to maintain some perceived equality with the PS3, when the average consumer couldn't give two shits.
Seriously, WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A VIDEO MARKETPLACE IN EUROPE. |

I wonder if the Video Marketplace will launch in Europe around the same time aswell.
I mean there isn't much need for the 120GB HDD if there ain't shit to d/l apart from game demos unless ofcourse you like to have a shitload of demos on tap ready to play at any time. The pricing is a complete ****in screw job as usual. I think I'll get a lovely 160GB Western Digital Passport for 105€ instead, hook it up to the 360 and then download all the sweet 720p wmv rips out there. |

This sends a really bad messege as far as dropping the price.
They should have launched the Elite at the Halo 3 launch in a bundle for maximum damage. What sickens me is that we people just buy everything because its cheap. If Wii was 600, would anyone really think it was worth it? It's a damn shame that prices controls the sales, when it should be the game. Maybe games in general are just nowhere near good enough for the casuals to matter? |
