YES! This game does exist! And it looks great!
I love stuff like this. There's something about underwater stuff whether its the Discovery Channel or whatever that really grabs me and pulls me in. I enjoyed Ecco the Dolphin when I was a kid, too.
There's a lot to do in the sea. You can catch fish, ride dolphins, go boating, look for sunken ships, etc. Some games really manage to get some great underwater themes going, but this looks to be tops.

Awesome. It looks better in motion too. I'm very interested to see how it turns out (hopefully a lot better than the PS2 game).

Very nice screens. Maybe the overworld is a little bit poor, but the underwater world is excelent. Cannot wait. I love this type of games, like Afrika.

This software project seems quite interesting to me, but also it seems a non-selling exploration-game. Bad deal for Nintendo, I suppose. Go back and try harder.

I don't mind if it's a game about nothing, kinda the way Animal Crossing is. It could be cool to just swim around, explore, and check out the local flora and fauna.

This is looking great. I enjoy these "go underwater and find stuff" games. Hopefully the soundtrack is good(something that sets the mood you know? I want to hear something like out of SeaWorld...really...underwater music right? nevermind).
I wish the Ecco games were more like this. Sure those games are beautiful to swim around in but they're hard as ****. I need something where I can just relax and enjoy the scenery.

I hope this has a free-roaming style. I would hate to see contrived limitations in what could be a great 'explore at your own leisure' game. (Although oxygen tanks tend to run out, oddly :D ).
