Dude, TEARS TO TIARA on PS3.

That's at least as exciting as Microsofts press conference right there.

... what was extreme, anyway? I seem to recall it being an action game? Is it cancelled for good, or just moved off PS3?

I think it was a Taito game. It's been cancelled for good.
People on 2ch saying DQ Swords is about 8 hrs long, or 5 hrs if you rush through. Famitsu review complains about length/volume too.

Shit! I knew it!

On the other hand, if it's that short I'd say 33/40 is a pretty decent score..!

Also, <3 the MGS4 scan from the other thread <3

You got to be kidding me.

And selling it for 6800yen? If it was 5800yen it is still understandable... They are just ripping money off people because they know people are going to buy it regardless.

Shame.

Didn't they say a while back that DQ swords was supposed to have some kind of super replayability factor? Something they were keeping secret?

Has that been revealed or was it bogus? Something like that could make the 8 hour thing much more tolerable.

Don't see why, Solid-State memory loading performance puts any Disc based memory to shame. Even with 2 Gigabit (which is still only 250MB).

I doubt that the speed rate will have a noticeable difference from the other cards. FFIII, using an 128MB card had a 1 to 2 seconds load time and it was supposed to be slower than the older cards as the Mechassult DS developers reported. Even if the data speed rate was lower, it wasn't noticeable at all.

Wait, what? 2GB = 2,000 GB unless using a 2 Gigabit card can only use 250 MB and then the other 1750 mb are used to fuel the energy of the other 250 MB. I really don't know how computers work.

Mmm, 256MB, hopefully they will use it because the game is long and not to put 10 CG movies on a 10-hours-long game.

Well, it is a Sakaguchi game.

FF7 had 2 minutes of actual gameplay in between all those CGs.

Just read in gamefront two other bits of info:

- Castlevania The Dracula X Chronicles will have co-op (WLAN, this is like saying ad-hoc isn't it?).
- Sonic Rush Adventure will be released on 18th October in Japan

Not a great surprise since they done something similar with the GBA and previous consoles too. They'll probably use bankswitching again to accommodate the extra number of memory address lines on the the DS card.

Either way, I hope they stuff that extra space with more gameplay content than FMVs even though I really like CGI.
