Greatest SNES Multiplayer Games?
#1
I just got my Super Nintendo working and am looking for good multiplayer games to play. Here's my preliminary list:
Super Bomberman 1 or 2 - which is better? I know there were several more for the Super Famicom. Are these much better? If so, where could I get them for a reasonable price? Contra 3 Tetris Attack Zombies Ate My Neighbors (based on glowing recommendations) Turtles in Time - what are some other good beat em' ups? Super Smash TV Joe & Mac Sunset Riders Mystical Ninja Which of the Pocky & Rocky games are good? Right now all I own are RPGs and the Mario games, so I'm open to pretty much anything else, even imports if they require no knowledge of japanese beyond selecting menus. I prefer games with small learning curves, and I am not really interested in fighters. |

Zombies Ate My Neighbors is the best.
There are tons of fantastic games, but all you have to do is set your bar there |

Turtles, Zombie, Kart, Secret of Mana, F-zero have all been mentioned.
There was a mecha game called Metal Warriors which never really seemed to garnish much popularity but I happened to love. There were 6 very different mechas which were used to great effect in the solid but terribly long and difficult single player adventure mode, and it also had a pretty good multiplayer duel mode. Shame this never turned into a series; it had much potential. Edit: oooooh, UNIRACERS! That game was awesome. |
