Hudson considering a new Star Soldier game on Wii?
#1
http://www.16shot.jp/blog/archives/2.../post_665.html
I don't claim to know the first thing about reading Japanese, but a couple small sites are reporting that this blog from a Hudson employee entry claims that Hudson is currently considering a new Star Soldier game for Wii, Star Soldier R. Can anyone confirm this? |

It will be a collection of 4 Star Soldier minigames. You waggle to fire, navigate with nunchuck.

He said he doesn't know when or if the game will ever come out, but maybe if you make enough noise it will. (Star Soldier R for the Wii, that is)
I'm not reading it very thuroughly, but it sounds like a caravan mode for it has already been made, and they've been using it at events or something. |

Based on the response and the demand during the touring event, Hudson may indeed be looking at publishing a full title. And for those that care about that sort of thing - the Classic controller is also specifically mentioned as being functional with the game. So the hopes (or fears) of a motion controlled vertical shooter are set aside - at least for another day. ;) |

Did a search, didn't see this news and video posted anywhere (unless either of them were buried in the VC thread somehow):

Wow, it'd be pretty fucking awesome if VC sales led to retro sequels on Wii Ware.
