BREAKING: GTA 4 delayed till April 2008 #1

Take-Two is reducing its fiscal 2007 guidance primarily to reflect the movement of the launch of Grand Theft Auto IV for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007 to fiscal 2008, due to additional development time required to complete the title. The title is now planned for release in the Company’s second quarter of fiscal 2008.

I knew it. This is good news for my wallet though.

2 months was not enough to go gold on this game.

hey maybe now they can eliminate the horrific framerate issues and pop-up problems that plagued the preview builds everyone was playing a few days ago. This is good news!

Wow.

That's pretty shocking, but not unexpected. The preview builds have all suffered from poor performance, afterall.

Really bad news for the industry, though.

How can anyone say "Wii am win", though? What the hell does the Wii even offer? Like, two good games and a fitness board? Of course, people will still buy it in droves...

Oh well, I'm sure it needs it, they certainly wouldn't delay it that much lightly. Now we don't have to worry about all those graphical and performance issues the previews universally mention as much.
