The God with four arms you're thinking of is Vishnu, that is an Indian/Hindu God. There are also Brahma and Shiva with multiple appendages

In Japan they mainly follow Shintoism, their Gods are known Kami such as Amateratsu the Sun god. As far as I know, there are no four armed Japanese Gods.

Buddhism is the main religion of China, I'm sure you know Buddha.

Of course you can't really peg a religion to a country anyhow, so it's stupid to call it an "Indian God" to begin with

Pyramid head sure is a strange choice of character to put in that game.
