Nintendo brings silver DS Lite to Europe #1

Dutch website DS-Gamer is reporting that the new catalogue for a toy-store reveals a metallic silver DS Lite coming to Europe this fall. There's no details yet, but Nintendo will probably reveal it themselves soon.

I guess that, since they already have this color in Japan it would be easier than setting up a new production line for a new color.

I wonder why Nintendo keeps producing such generic colors. Give me some bright earth tones, or how about pinstripes?!

That's not how the tech industry wants to be perceived.

There's presumably a smaller market for 'different' colors. I mean, if you'd throw a dozen of those different colors presumably the Lite would still do great, but as it stands pretty much every DS shipped is sold, and setting up all sorts of new lines for new colors in small amounts wouldn't be worth the effort.

I hope they bring out the Metallic Rose one too, because that looked great.

If Nintendo produced popular colours early, then how could they triple-dip in a year or two with more colour releases?
