I did a search and didn't find anything regarding this, but according to GameStop's "Coming Soon" binder that is in stores the NES versions of Contra and Super C will be in Contra 4. Good news.

Even more of an instant buy now. Is this the first NES games being avaliable on a DS game? Not counting the GBA re-releases, but I'd like to see how they take advantage of the DS resolution.

Doubt it'll include Multiplayer though for them, now THAT would be awesome.

And yet, Super C was JUST released on Virtual Console, which makes this even weirder.

Rlan, that was an odd game. "Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX" was like a merger of Contra III: The Alien Wars and Contra: Hard Corps.

Not true. DS's screen is exactly 4:3 (256:192). You have a little bit of fudging with regard to the overscans, but it's pretty much the closest you're going to get to original NES aspect ratio.

Now, if you were talking GBA at 3:2 (240:160), then you'd be right.
