Sucks, I just pre-ordered this last week. Game's pretty much a niche title already, seems like all they're really doing is pissing off the people that were going to buy it. I guess I'm just bitter.

As a service to clueless old people (like me), could we get the original release date mentioned in this thread?

Harvey Birdman was originally slated to be released on Nov. 13.

My point still stands. Release games before the Winter season. There was nothing good released for the Wii in September, this would have been great there. Delaying it past those 112 skus wont do jack.

With production times right now, any title finished right now is still going to be released in the highly congested Nov timeframe. There's no choice right now other than to release in Jan.

Pretty much the same thought I had. This game will sell to a certain fanbase either way, and probably not much more than that.

No? Harvey Birdman started in december 2000 says Wikipedia, while the first Phoenix Wright game was released for GBA in 2001. I don't think Capcom has Japanse developers eyeing American cartoons for potential new games so they can publish them as soon as possible, cashing in on the 'huge' market American cartoons have in Japan.
