They could really just strip back the obviously difficult parts and I'd be happy. I like playing a note for every note in most cases... |

I'm still debating on getting the bundle or just the game. Is the improvement from the xplorer to the gibson worth the extra 40 bucks? Maybe I'll try it at best buys before I decide.

ok...
After playing Rockband at Bestbuy... There is no reason to ever buy another GH again. Period. The controller alone puts it above gh, but the drums... holy shit. I'm waking up early tomorrow to be there at store opening just to play it again. Whoevers idea it was to have this setup at the midnight launch should get a raise. |

I was hoping it would be, difficutly-wise, somewhere between GHI and GHII.
I was able to easily beat expert on I, but could not complete the last tier on II. I'm definitely going to try to pick this up Monday morning. Don't know what I'm going to do with Halo 3, Orange Box and GHIII...guess I'll have to spend less time on HW. |

I'd say "hard" in GH3 is comparable to GH1's Expert (in terms of difficulty progression, but, ultimately, more difficult in every possible way) and GH2's mid-level Expert songs. That said, if you compare the final tier songs of all three games (on hard), it's clear that GH3's are easily the most difficult. Do not be surprised if you were able to beat the hard modes of previous GHs (but couldn't beat Expert), and you can't finish GH3's. Again, I'm speaking specifically to those that are used to starting/playing on Hard; not you freaks that can beat Jordan or the final-tier songs in GH2 on Expert without breaking a sweat. Just for a frame of reference, I beat GH1's Expert with little difficulty but could not finish GH2's. Last edited by Vyse The Legend : 10-28-2007 at 06:13 AM. |

You have to use regular batteries for it? ... So is the new wireless guitar worth it over the last one? Any advantages besides it being wireless? I'm wondering whether I should bother getting the guitar or just getting the game alone. |

Anyone else having trouble linking their account to guitarhero.com.
I'm getting "Invalid Slot Token" even though I'm inputting it exactly as it shows up on my screen and some other ways too! |
