Lots to love about that little stick. Nice and colorful, lots of text on a commercial stick, full sanwa. Sucks for the modders that it has those little yellow switches at top, though. Hopefully more companies release smaller sticks.
Looks great! Also, arcadeshock put up some new qanba sticks: http://www.arcadeshock.com/items/qan...ticks/list.htm |

Cheers guys, I resoldered (almost as badly as it was before) the USB cable back on the PCB and put it all back together and it seems to be working ok except for the Xbox guide button.
It's definatley not the button lock enabled (start/select work) the 3 connectors that are attached to the other PCB, could I have them mixed up? if so any idea which way round they go? |

I had some Sanwa buttons and a matching balltop on order. After paying for 3-day priority shipping, I was starting to get irritated on Day 11 when they still hadn't arrived.
I decided to go online and check the tracking information on the shipment (which I didn't realize was offered at the time of purchase). And guess what... My order was delivered to some completely different address 6 hours from where I live. How the FUCK does that happen? I contacted the company, and they verified that they used the correct address on the shipping label. Is the USPS being run by monkeys or something these days? Some bastard out there has my buttons and balltop, and he probably has no clue what they are or where they came from. |

beatmania and pop'n controllers don't have all the directional inputs available to the player (and in fact the pop'n controller is constantly firing three directions in order to identify itself to the game). Also, the Para Para Paradise controller uses some proprietary USB interface.
But along these lines, it's not exactly Evo-caliber play, but... http://www.twitch.tv/starcreator/b/293337160 Also, there's these other games I tried this with, and had a better camera setup for: http://www.twitch.tv/starcreator/b/293668724 http://www.twitch.tv/starcreator/b/296141761

Trying to remove the joystick on my HRAP3 and one of the JLF mounting screws just keeps spinning in place. Tried using a flat head to elevate and tried to pull towards me while screwing counter clockwise. It just spins, regardless of what direction in screwing at. Really damn irritating.

I wonder what really went on, because I got a full refund from LizardLick after an email or two. Also not exactly what you would do if you were solely looking to scam people. But at this point, they should just be administering group refunds to anyone with a pending order.

Yeah :-(
$300-ish seems to be the going price to import sticks these days. Stick is over-priced for what it is but I have a fondness for sticks that are released for online-only games. And I really, really liked the first little Exar sanwa stick. Kinda fun, too, getting a stick from the famitsu store. Anyways, I put in a request so we will see if CD Japan can get it. They are handling my Hori Edge sticks too. I they do get it for me and the poster comes with it I'll just donate it to somebody in the GG thread, or _dementia, if you want it since you are a GG superfan.

My wallet is getting dented this year thanks to all the sticks coming out...
This year, new releases...
And then the Razer one if it comes out this year... That's a lot of stuff. |

It just came out. Same internal parts as the Hori Mini-Sticks that came out during PS1 days.... Just updated:
http://www.sdtekken.com/wp-content/u...5/55aaaba1.jpg Actually they're called COMPACT JOYSTICK. You can not mod it with Sanwa parts, btw. |

I just think a more dynamic style works better with Persona than a large pic of Charlie Tunoku with everyone else just stacked on the side like a pile of bricks.
Does it look amazing? No, but at least it catches the eye a bit more. I'm working on a P3 custom now that should blow them both out of the water! :D
