I also scored a pair of the TvsC sticks from GameStop and had a friend pick me up the WWE stick for 360. I would really like to put a Cthulhu board in both of the Wii sticks for use on all of my old systems(and maybe PS3, though i could just use the Mayflash adapter for that). I also am going to pick up a WWE pad to hopefully make one of the two Wii sticks 360 compatible as well.
[s]Ultimately, what I am thinking would work is that I can put a DPDT switch in one which i could use to choose either wii or 360/ps3/etc[/s](let's just ignore that line because it's idiocy and I'm attempting to come across as...not an idiot). I'd add the RJ45 port and ultimately have two cords coming out of the stick, the classic controller cord and one usb cord(for both 360/ps3). Would this be possible? The other stick would just have the cthulhu installed with an RJ45 port and the classic controller cord coming out. [s]Would I still need a switch for that?[/s] I love that I finally have joined the world of arcade sticks, but the ladyfriend is displeased that i just added three big toys to our already cluttered space. I was thinking this would be a fun project for us(her soldering skills put me to shame) and also make my three new toys easier to swallow. If between the three sticks I could create the option for two sticks on any one of my systems, I think she would be much happier about the purchase. Plus, we'd both be proud of our mod work. Thanks for your help!

New update on PS360+. On April 17th they mentioned that it wouldn't ship until mid May, and now it seems that they will finally reveal the release date on Friday (hopefully?).

If this thing ever actually happens maybe I'll put it in my Persona stick. |

I'm finally getting around to ordering a custom art for my MVC2 TE stick now and I'm working on the art since I got the evenings off till Monday.
Here's what I'm going for so far. ![]() I'll likely add trim work around the left side and upper edges to give it a nicer look, but a simple minimalist Iron Fist using my Avatar art is definitely what I'll be doing. I'll keep the Yellow buttons and ball top I have, but I'll pop out the 2 white buttons and either replace those with more yellow or just a pair of blacks out of my My Little Pony Arcade Stick since Black has no business on that stick anyways. Any thoughts on this or suggestions of good scrollwork or asian looking trim I should try? |

Then you are going to love this. I just got home from work and was about to do some more work on this and my wife who was home had apparently decided to surprise me by customizing the layout for me! She added the background and kanji and vector traced all the things ever to smooth them out and had even played with my bevel settings since I was complaining about them before I left for work after my post and a few corner thingers later and this was made.
MANLY PICTURE TIME! ![]() ![]() This is gonna look so awesome. I included the hole free one for anyone that just wants to use it for other sticks too. If anyone needs a larger sized version then go here. Also a slightly different wallpaper version too here. So manly. This stick is gonna look great.

If you don't mind, I'll PM you next month for a small list of shops to make sure to hit up in Akihabara that might be worthwhile to find some sticks. Mainly looking for the straggler Exars, and a HRAP 360 SA. Only taking $1000 and want to get some Saturn and PC-Engine shooters and a PCB so I'll only be able to get 2 or three sticks. Also need an RGB cable for my Sigma which should be easy to find, I hope. |

What would be the easiest option for converting my PS2 tekken stick into a korean? I've seen some homemade mods, but I don't have the tools to drill out the joystick port to the larger size. I would like to keep the original art on there, but I don't think it's possible with this:

And I've now officially gotten my TE stick art ordered from art's hobbies online. I'm pretty excited for this. I'll be using yellow and black buttons and a yellow ball top. Later I'll take the white frame off of this MVC2 stick and replace it with a nice matching black one as well to set the thing off better, but for now I'm playing it tight.
I do have one question, though. Is there anywhere online that charges a reasonable rate to print arcade stick lamilabels? I don't care if they are etched or not (though if they cut them thats cool) I just need to know if anyone knows a good online store to order any from for my SFIV Madcatz arcade stick. My local print options are extremely limited as I live in WV (welfare virginia). As is the only place that even has laminate top labels only has them in sizes for my arcade stick. Well I can safely say after customizing the arcade stick with one of those labels that they are shit. Utter and complete garbage...these things just don't last. From the laminate to the adhesive they are just too stiff to contour and pops the glue off. I'd just glue it, but the laminate honest to god cracks too. I asked them and apparently they've had that box of lami-labels since they opened the store many years ago. I'm the only one who has ever needed any and they won't order anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated here. |

I am thinking of purchasing an arcade stick to use with both PS3/PC and was looking at this one, which costs slightly more than 100 Euro:
Hori Officially Licensed Real Arcade Pro V3 SA I am a fighting stick n00b, will I have problems pulling moves in fighting games with this one? Thanks! |

Does anybody have any experience with the Qanba/BigBen arcade sticks.
I was at a local tournament and almost all top players used this stick. It has sanwa parts just like the MadCats TE stick, but also has a nice handhold to carry the thing araound and best of all is PS3/360/Pc compatible all in one!. Thinking of ordering one, but I would like to hear some impressions of gaf users first... http://www.bigben-interactive.co.uk/...roduit/id/4606 |

I'd go with the Hori if it's cheaper. Both are gonna have all Sanwa parts and work flawlessly with PS3/PC (or whatever system you have), so go with the cheaper one. The only thing that might sway you one way or another is the design. Some Qanba sticks are pretty sleek looking, while others more clearly reflect their Chinese origin. Hori's have pretty safe, but sturdy designs.

I got a Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Stick TE last year and I have a question for you gurus:
How do I use it on my PC? I've tried MotionJoy and gotten it to work with a regular DualShock 3 controller, but it does not work with the TE. I want to play MAME with it... |

Shit, I want one even more now. I just want to swap the PCB board with a paewong one. Love the casing and the space between the stick and buttons. If anyone here is going to Japan soon, holla at the kid. I'll pay upfront for this stick. Fiending right now. Shit, I'll see if I could find that KOF stick and swap everything.

Good news is that they are not that expensive on the Hori USA store so should not be too pricey on eBay. Shipping to Australia is gonna be a killer. |

So what is the verdict on the new Hori Kuro buttons that come with the Fighting Edge stick?
I read the review on Level|Up, which seemed to indicate that they are quality and comparable to Sanwas, but I'd like to hear more impressions. I recently swapped out my HRAP3 stock buttons for some Sanwas, and I could feel the difference immediately. |

Nobody knows until the stick is released. That review was great on SRK link but better to wait till folks get the stick in their hand in the next few weeks.
One thing is for certain: I'm converting a 360 version to all Seimitsu so I'll donate the extra Kuru buttons to somebody here. Maybe somebody wants to make their 360 version all black so I'll give them my four extra black Kuru buttons. |
