On black friday I saw a stack of 300 wii's get sold out within an hour (Read: less than an hour).

Dec 2nd will be a huge day to try and grab one (Maybe one of the last huge shipments for Best Buys). From what I've heard, the minimum quantity advertised in the flier is 60 (maybe 50). My store has received 72, and most stores in the district have them sitting in the warehouse for the ad.

People I SERIOUSLY need your help here.

I am not in the US now but I want to buy a Wii there because it is the cheapest price to pay for the system in the whole world. So I am planning to visit the US for visiting friends and some christmas shopping ( Wii as priority) but I want to visit the US when there is a chance that there will be new wii shipments on stores. I am willing to wake up early and line up for it on 6:00 in the morning as long as I am 100% sure there is a shipment to fight for. Thing is I must know when shipments arrive because I can't stay for more than 3 or 4 days in the US.

Can Gaffers working at retail confirm WHEN will nintendo make the next wii shpment in their stores? Can someone else confirm the quoted? Is Dec. 2 a safe bet?

TRU has Wii's EVERY Sunday. I thought this was known. I'm going over there in a few hours to get in line. Might grab a couple hours of sleep first.

Just a quick update, the store minimum for Best Buys looks like its only going to be 18 per store, but most stores are getting much higher quantities. In my district the lowest total was 25, but all the other stores had 50+. So for those willing to wait, Sunday December 2nd might be a good day to show up early and try and get a ticket.

For people the people that work at Bestbuy that may post in this thread, could you mention the store along with the amount of Wiis they will get?

It would be much appreciated if someone could mention if a Best Buy near Redmond (if there is one nearby) will get an XX amount of Wiis. Thanks

Most of the auctions I'm seeing are in the $300 range. Not worth standing in line for hours to make $50-75.

Just so everybody knows I believe this is a National thing, so if you live in some place far away from Cali you still should be able to find a Wii...

Uhm...no? Most of them are going for around 450-550, depending on whether or not Wii Play is included. All of those auctions with "5 games included" are simply counting each fucking minigame in Wii Sports as an actual game. It's fucking asinine, but that's how they roll.

Anyone have an idea how many the Oxnard, CA Best Buy is getting? I'm thinking of getting one, and my girlfriend is getting one, so we can basically get one for free.
