CNET websites & Eidos games will be filtered from NeoGAF in protest
#1
In support of Jeff Gerstmann and in protest of the alleged wrongful termination, NeoGAF will be filtering CNET websites and Eidos properties from our site for the remainder of 2007. I realize that Gamespot remains a major source of news, and Eidos has some games that someone here may possibly care about, but I request that no member starts a thread about a Cnet website or an Eidos game for the duration of the protest unless it is related to the Gerstmann/K&L controversy. If you're unsure, just preview your thread and check for asterisks.
This will include: ![]() Note: due to the nature of the filter software, some of the game titles will be only partially filtered since we can't do phrases. |

Thanks, Great move by GAF, hope its also covered by the guys who put together agrigator gaming news pages (gametabs.com) etc...
Nice move EvilLove/GAF On the news I also removed Gamespots On The Spot HotSpot & Gamespot UK podcasts from my list. (now I need more UK podcasts) Appalling behaviour. Eidos games now go along some of EAs titles (handshaking online servers) on the boycott list |

Btw, I reckon this thread should be stickied instead of the getting fired thread.

Splendid move. I'd also suggest utilizing email and snail-mail to voice your opinion to Eidos and CNET. Angry Gamer has the addresses here.
Nothing gets to a company faster than people promising never to buy/use their products ever again. Let 'em know, folks. |
