How the hell did this happen? I'm sure there are worse boxarts, but for a great game coming from a developer known for their artistic prowess, it's pretty terrible.

orange box is the worse, looks like a pc shovelware boxart, prime 3 was bad as well, liked the ld/temp logo they were using and it could have just expanded on that

I think Orange Box did the game a disservice, but it's not the worst by any means.
Hotel Dusk: Room 215 was weak compared to the JP release, so was Phantom Hourglass compared to the EU box.

Nothing really impressed me, I suppose Folklore's was nice.

It captures perfectly what makes the game so awesome. Well, multi wise anyways.

What I don't like is this one, though clever, and certainly not the worst:



Gran Turismo already had that kind of cover, and got away with it.



PGR isn't nearly established enough to pull something so minimal, as most wouldn't really "get" the game unless they knew what it was beforehand. Could it be why it bombed incredibly hard in October? Nah, but it didn't help.

This is my vote for best of 2007 as well. Too bad the US version adds all these other elements that make it busier and worse in general.

The worst is definitely the Orange Box, and specifically the Canadian version (Le Boite Orange).

while one could count numerous games in the kiddie/licensed/general crapheap for worst box art (High School Musical, redneck hunting, Imagine Babiez etc), I think The Orange Box takes all thanks to the horrid design being attached to a game of such awesomeness. you expect shitty games to have shitty boxart, but Half Life 2 and portal? C'mon now.....
