Taken from the PS3 manual of DMC4:

Install
When the game starts for the first time, Devil May Cry 4 game data will be installed on the PLAYSTATIONŽ3 Hard Disk Drive (HDD). You must install the Devil May Cry 4 game data to play the game. Only one copy of the Devil May Cry 4 game data can be installed to the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). 4.8GB of free space is required to install the game data.

Into the options menu, you can enable the motion sensor:
Motion Sensor
With the Motion Sensor ON, turn the controller left and right to move the camera.
To quickly set the camera behind your character, shake the controller vigorously.

There are also intersting PSN features and "accomplishments":

At the Network menu, view player rankings divided according to diffi culty, as well as various accomplishments. By using the PLAYSTATIONŽNetwork service, you can view the world rankings and play information of players around the world.

There's nothing wrong with a little backtracking. The first Devil May Cry had it.

It's actually unlockables which the 360 version has also. It's not like achievements for the 360.

Why would they make installing it a requirement? I want to bring it home and jump straight into the game without waiting 45min for it to install. Not a big deal but a bit annoying.

Also I really hope there's more than one way to turn the camera.

Five gigabytes is a lot of space to play a game. I wonder how many people who are beginning to fill up their HDDs, especially those who bought the 20 GB system at launch. I know it's easy to exchange the HDDs, but some people don't know how or don't want to. I just hope this doesn't become a standard. No loading times is great, but developers should at least give the option to run completely off the disc.

How can you say that? Have you even played the game?

You're part of the problem. It's not like 85 is even close to a low score.

What if you have a 40GB PS3? Only plan on playing 7 games? Messing about with uninstalling / reinstalling games you want to play? I bought consoles to get away from installing games.
