For those that can't read German, it says that Sam & Max is coming to the Wii.

They've been talking about Sam & Max coming to both the 360 and Wii but it was like one of those "We would like to see it happen but if it is in demand, we will do it" sort of thing. I've been following this thing for a while because at the time that Sam and Max Season One came out, my computer was still just a PII 400mhz Laptop. Not fast enough to play almost anything.

Point and click adventures are perfect for the Wii. If I didn't already own this on my PC (and if somehow my PC wasn't capable of running it) I would totally get it on the Wii.

I don't tend to play any games on my PC anymore. I'll be much more likely to buy it for a console.

I didn't have a PC good enough to run it at the time. Now that I do, I will just wait for the Wii version. FUCK NEW ENGLAND JUST MISSED A FIELD GOAL!!! Plus they might add some new stuff to it.

My pc sucks. I was going to get them for consoles and then get them for pc when I upgraded. But it seems I should be upgrading this year so there's no point now.

Unless there is bonus content (which we don't know if there is or not), what possible reason is there to hold yourself back from getting great games in hopes of them coming to a console?

You can either buy all the episodes seperately, buy them all together and save money, or buy a physical copy.

If you want Season 2, you can only do the first two options right now. And if you buy all of Season 2 together, you can get a physical copy when it comes out for the cost of shipping only.

the original sam and max was pretty rad. i'm just glad now i'll be able to play it without having to install that abortion that is windows.

anyway we should all be happy about this news. it's more sam and max love, for more people.

Of course it isn't an excuse for anyone here on GAF, but for many people downloading/installing a game is a good reason to skip a game.

Would it? Each of the first season's six episodes takes up about 250 MB on my hard drive. The Wii has 512 MB of storage space. I'd have to wipe out a lot of VC games in order to download this.

I'd much rather see a retail release (or Nintendo allowing us to run games off of SD cards).
