Also along with this brief update Ubisoft changed the release date from May to March. After hearing this news I'm feeling a little... Haze-y....

The graphics aren't the problem. Its the gameplay. Simply atrocious. They should scrap it, and turn themselves in to the police.

Nobody has ever called it a Halo killer though. It's stupid. It'll probably be a decent AA game so why is there so much pessimism towards it for not being the best game ever?

The media always wants to compare it. They always do with every sci-fi fps. It kinda sucks as i imagine some games don't get a fair chance.

However, i just can't dig those videos. The vids of this game are so boring. A game doesn't always have to be the best but fun factor is always a concern.

Stopped caring about this game as soon as I picked up CoD4... Next fps I pick up for PS3 will be either KZ2 or R2.

I don't think they've shown anything in this game that would put it above what I have already done in Resistance:FOM for the SP/co-op campaign nor do I it can compare its MP with CoD4 or R:FOM...

I think Haze could be a nice stop gap before Killzone 2 and Resistance 2. Im a bit bored of CoD4 now, tho I'll probably go back to it for one last fix. I will wait for reviews on Haze, but I have faith!

I'm amazed at the amount of pessimism about this game. I'm still pretty optimistic that it's going to be a good game. It's also bizarre that some people seem to think it needs to equal or surpass Halo 3 or CoD4 to be worth playing. I guess if you play 2 games per year that might work, but I'd prefer a bit more variety.

As with any online FPS, I would like to know whether online is laggy or not, but other than that, I'm pretty confident that FR will deliver another good game.

No one called it a 'Halo killer', and it's not exclusive. The hate came from the poor art design, mediocre graphics and terrible showings at conferences, replete with terrible framerate and partially textured levels.

It is a shame W.O.P. games don't always get fair treatment. Warhawk looked pretty poor in it's first showings and that turned out to be a very solid title.

I certainly hope they didn't rush the game, as it looked like it needed a lot of work, but at the very least a March release actually gives it a chance to do some business before KZ2 and Resistance 2 hit.

I'm really trying to keep an open mind about this, but it's hard. It'll have to be good to make me buy. I realized when CoD on UT showed up that there's only so many FPSs I need in my life, and for the most part, I still love Resistance most of all.

This is something I really hope they took care of with the extra time. Something else too, the pace of the gameplay seems a little on the slow side. I hope they put a little more pep to your characters pace in the game. Your character seems to "jog" at the same pace as in Halo, which feels way too slow to me now. This game has been high on my list to ok, this looks kinda good to well, it may turn out alright, to "meh".... Hope the extra time was worth it and they really polished it up. There can never be enough games...
