Amazed me!

This was posted around a year ago, and then around a month ago >_>

Also I'm pretty sure the logic behind that explanation is taking certain conceptual liberties, but I'm no expert...

Unfortunately there's some flaws with that conceptualization, especially in how they define infinity.

This theory is too stupid for me to even bother to try to understand it.

Their are only three dimensions, all the rest is some hypothetic bullsh*t...

Is this the clip where they're mixing up dimensions with branes and all kinds of shit?
But it doesn't matter, the average Joe won't even get this.

NeoGAF doesn't want you to know about this dimension.

What is GAF hiding?

According to Quantum Mechanics, you're playing golf right now with the president in your underwear... in another dimension.

On a side note, I just happen to have the audiobook of "Flatland" on my iPhone right now. I think I'll listen to it. I recommend it.

I remember Michio Kaku talking about a new brillaint theory that some students came up with involving an 11th dimension. I don't remember the details, though.

How can there be different initial conditions in the 7th dimension?

Are you trying to be funny or are you serious? Do you even know what dimensions are?

There are tons of variables that describe the state of our universe...

Quote:
There are many physical constants in science, some of the most widely recognized being the rationalized Planck's constant h, the gravitational constant G, the speed of light in the vacuum c, the electric constant ε0, and the elementary charge e.

Had any of them been even slightly different, this would be a very different universe indeed.

Hypothetically, there could be an entirely different initial singularity made up of a different mix of subatomic particles. Different universal ingredients, if you will. The resulting universe would have a completely different set of natural laws. For example, a different mix might make for a universe where gravity is too weak to allow matter to coeless into stars.

One point is everything that could possibly happen in our universe with current physics. Another point is everything that could possibly happen in the same universe with different physics.

Or atleast that is the way I understood it. Very interesting, thanks for sharing. =)

Yeah that's what I thought... different physics o_O

Does the theory of everything take into account different values of the forces?

The more I get to know about our universe (or think that I get to know), the more all of this, including our existence, just looks like a joke to me. This just cannot be happening.

I feel you on this but this might help. Even though it might make a joke of our existence at least our existence is one that can comprehend these things and question it as if we're more than just that.

I'm very proud of all of you for writing this video off as chintzy psuedo-science crap. If you are going to explain even the fourth dimension you have to be more expansive and creative with your model.

saw this a few weeks ago.

lol we can treat the third dimension as the first two folded in a loop, so it must work for the other 6 or 7, right?
