Is this like the court only (like the case ones) or can you create full blown investigations?

I so want to make a case out of combining mysteries from the Encyclopedia Brown stories.

Awesome. Looking through the site it seems you will have access to most of the court records from the first game.

Now release this in English and allow us to create investigations!

It appears to be done as a promotion for the upcoming Episodic version of PW. Now, don't start creaming, because it's just that they're splitting the previous games (1-3) which were already on PC in Japan in to episodic PC version.

I saw a french version of something like that long ago, but it was only web browser based and fan made, so it felt a bit clunky and I didn't like it much.

What about the investigation phase and things like that? Can you make up new characters, sets, and props? Or does a whole slew of new art to mix and match come with it?

I also wonder if they plan to give the editor away for free but you have to pay for new characters, sets, and props from a flood of art they release. I honestly can't imagine Capcom giving something away for "truly" free or why they would even do that. I believe strings may be attached, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing either.

Oh I see. So it's only from part one. You can simply mix and match the characters, sets, and other art from only the first game to make your own case. Gotcha. Cool I guess for free, but the characters, locations and items, are already identified and used. Kind of limiting and makes you wonder if it's worth your time actually, if everyone is simply going to associate your new case with everyone from the first game. But I'd rather have this, as limited as it is, than to not have it at all. It's a nice surprise.

So how do you subscribe to this?
