I loved Weapon Lord. I was really good at it too for some reason.
I like Vs. on PS1. It has characters designed by the people that did Slap Happy Rhythm Busters. |

Here's a hidden gem for GAF:
![]() ![]() I only got to play this for about an hour about 10 years ago, but it is the reason I will be buying a Neo Geo 64 sometime soon. You moved the character forward and backwards with two buttons and executed moves using the joystick. I was also a big fan of the balance meter. |

I really miss Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct Gold (2). I played the absolute crap out of them, and knew just about every character inside and out. It always upsets me to see people saying that the game is garbage these days (it's not).
Nice to see TMNT Tourny Fighters, I honestly thought I was the only one who thought that game was awesome. It's still in my collection, and the music was pretty bad ass too. I LOLed at Wargods... I guess the point of the thread is to bring up fighters you liked that people hated, I'd say Wargods is a good one to bring up. I actually bought that game dirt cheap many moons ago just to have fun making fun of it. Speaking of N64 fighters, I remember kind of liking BioFreaks and Mace: The Dark Age. I'm sure they're awful, but I recall having a fun time with them. Dark Rift on the other hand... ung. |

Ryuji, Suzaku and Wiler were the shit in that game. I wish I still had my copy. ;_; |

It had Batman and Superman. |

The first Toshinden was so refreshing. It was the only game I got with my PSX for almost a year, and I was totally fine with that. Although I tried playing it recently and failed miserably. It doesn't hold up well today. I still like the character designs, all-in-all a good effort from Takara, a company that previously was just porting SNK fighters to SNES.

There was a really bad fighter for the Genesis where the chatacters were all robots. At the time, I think it might have been the only street-fighter-like game available, so I thought it was pretty awesome... I wish I could remember what it was called. Any help?
It could have been Rise of the Robots, but somehow it doesn't seem right ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNCfKd7Tb5s |

I really enjoyed Marvel Nemesis, even though it was almost universally hated. I thought the animations were great (especially Spidey) and the fact that the characters weren't balanced was fun, as that's how superheroes should be.
oh yeah, I liked ICON too. |

DOA. It seems to get a lot of hate on here, but I absolutely love the series. I find it far more fun than 'serious' fighting games like VF and Tekken. Although Tekken is definitely in a firm 2nd place.
