These psp SO trailers aren't too gripping though I'm sure the game will be fine.

Damn I would pay mad moneyz for this to come to the PSN or a port to the PS2/3.

I am still pissed to what SO3 did to the story of this franchise to no end!

I'm sort of out of the loop with these PSP games. Can someone please tell me when the first one is scheduled to come stateside? I never played any in the series, so I'm very anxious to get these whenever they come out.

Anyone have an answer to my above question from yesterday...?

I think they both are they just didn't remake them for one are but since it's Square Enix it will probably be a while before you see them here.

The first remake doesn't have any release date for now, but hopefully S-E will provide one later. You can always try and play the original.

It's not scheduled yet.

I'm really hoping SE gets off their bums about this. I want to buy both really badly.

The theme song for this game is just too awesome, does anyone know when the soundtrack is coming out?

Yes. Where are my localization announcements? >:( Not that I won't play in Japanese if I must, but I'd rather not.

Sigh I wish they would bring the first Star ocean remake and this over that would be enough to actually get me to buy a psp as an rpg fan since Star ocean 2 on ps1 rocked.

They might be waiting for Crisis Core to come out to announce it. Might even be on the back of the manual? (I know some companies do it that way, announcing the next game for that platform on the most recent game)

Great another port/remake from SE although it was announced awhile ago. SO2 was good, for the first half. Second half is a bore.

My god, please come to ps2 or psn. Sorry for the tired bring PSP game to PS2/psn thing but I just can't help it. My favorite rpg with better cutscenes and voice acting. Goodness gracious. I'd pay $60 for this >< That trailer was awesome!

SE isn't the kind of company who does that unless its FF. BTW there are lots of awesome games on the psp along with ps3 connectivity, I don't see why you wouldn't get one instead.

I played SO 2 once and own SO3. This trailer definitely shows lots of new additions. I can't wait for both SO1 and 2 :D

I actually did buy a PSP for these two games. Thankfully other stuff is out that has justified my purchase, since the lack of localization announcement is starting to make me worry. :/ Still, this is Square-Enix, who translates pretty much everything.

I wonder what is Square-Enix planning to port to PSP next. Not a fan of ports, but seeing that it is the most we can expect from them...I wonder if we could have some portable PS2 goodness.

Sadly, as far as I know, never. It's too bad; there's far too little in the realm of pure JRPG on the PSP, and it seems like such the perfect handheld for it.
