There isn't a whole lot there, but it's no longer that silly teaser image. Hopefully the media blitz will start, similar to DQ4's.

Nothing has been shown of VI at all yet. We're supposed to get IV in August, maybe possibly somehow V later in '08.Originally Posted by A Link to the Snitch
So, just curious, what's the consensus on a mass release of all three during the Summer/Fall in the US?
You know I have always liked Toriyama's art much better in DQ than DBZ

Same here...is it loading or is there nothing there?Originally Posted by Johnas

Yeah, they just take a while to load. There are character profiles and lots of new screenshots.Originally Posted by Johnas

Ah, there we go. This game looks great.
Wasn't there something about SE regging Hand of the Heavenly Bride or something?Originally Posted by Johnas

Yeah, that's the NTSC subtitle for DQV. But they also registered a subtitle for VI, so V's isn't necessarily an indication that it'll be out in '08, just that it's on the way eventually.Originally Posted by A Link to the Snitch

This. I've not been able to get a single page to load yet :lolOriginally Posted by Error
If isn't much of a bother, could someone please extract the pictures of this site? Thanks in advance.

July will be a good month. :)
Well, it's the one I call the best in the series. It's also my favorite game, period. 5 is really popular, but I think 3 is generally considered "the best" by the majority of the fans.Originally Posted by Deadly Monk

Yes, but I don't know why. I liked VI a hell of a lot more-- more interesting story, and a decent class system.Originally Posted by Deadly Monk

I give that title to Dragon Quest III.Originally Posted by Deadly Monk

Always thought III was the most popular.Originally Posted by Deadly Monk

But this is better IMO.
III is my second favorite though.
III? No way. I always thought people were divided between IV and VOriginally Posted by Aeana

Might have to pick this up when I'm in Japan, thanks. I usually here 5 as being the favorite among the big fans of the series.Originally Posted by Aeana

It's one of the fan favorites, for sure. But I'm not sure about "best", personally. It does have the most unique story though, not only in DQ, but one of the most unique jrpg stories ever. It can be really emotional, and when you finally complete it feels like you finished this epic friggin journey that few games offer.Originally Posted by Deadly Monk

It's the only one I've managed to play all the way through- although I couldn't really give a reason why. I haven't played any beyond 5 and a little of 6 and 8. I should look up information on 4...Originally Posted by Deadly Monk

One of the best for sure. If you are new to the series wait until S-E launches some kind of DS bundle, DQ4-6 & DQIX.Originally Posted by Deadly Monk

There is no official confirmation, but rumors. DQ4 got ESRB ratings and the titles of the other two were registered in the US Patent Office. It's bound to happen soon.Originally Posted by Jade Knight 08
Is USA getting these games: Dragon Quest 4, 5, and 6 and have date yet? Or this is just for Japanese release only?
Thanks.
Yes. Like they did with Final Fantasy 1 and 2 for PSP, right?Originally Posted by soul

I may be wrong but I only mentioned it is possible.Originally Posted by Error

As much as I would love for that to happen, I'm pretty sure these are going to get their own releases months apart like FF3 and FF4 DS. Otherwise it would be too good of a deal.Originally Posted by soul

I actually hope they don't mess with the battles too much beyond what was already in the ps2 remake (4 party members and individual AI I think?).
Its Square "Tax" Enix...it'll happen when Shenmue III gets madeOriginally Posted by soul

I don't think they will. They didn't mess with DQ4 DS (aside from some minor changes only the hardcore of the most hardcore will notice), at least. I doubt they will make any drastic changes to DQ5 DS.Originally Posted by firex
wow that looks awesome. I can't wait until we get some more info on it, even if it's like a 2009 release at best over here.

Yeah, I fully expect the actual battles to be identical to DQ4 DS. I am wondering what the "new life choice" will be, and also if they plan on changing anything like they changed the immigrant town thing in DQ4 DS. I think the new specialty goods system could use some refinement, at the very least.Originally Posted by Error

I'm also still curious to find out if they're going to put DQ5's battle formation in or not.
In keeping with our new, culturally sensitive era, they will allow the Hero to enter into a homosexual relationship with a totally new character instead of merely choosing between two wives.Originally Posted by Aeana

...Wait, they wouldn't be able to get children, then. Darn, for a second there I thought I'd had it.
Adoption or surrogate mother. Take your pick.Originally Posted by Pureauthor

But if they adopt they won't get the legendary blood of Papas flowing through their veins!Originally Posted by Dragona Akehi

And I foresee arguments about who would get to impregnate the surrogate mother.
Um, I'm pretty sure the only games that used the FF3DS engine would be FF3DS and FF4DS.Originally Posted by Spoit
Those screens are amazing, I wish that they'd go for the high-quality sprites for more games rather than the FF3DS 3d engine they use for everything
