Slightly more descriptive descriptions from Kotaku:
• Bayonetta, directed by DMC creator Hideki Kamiya, and is described by the site’s correspondent as a “stylish action game” with “a witch battling angels”. Apparently she has guns on her feet. • A science-fiction RPG for the DS called Infinite Line, where you play as a starship captain, customising your ship and crew. • A Wii game called MadWorld. ...it’s, “Black and white Sin City graphics, with red blood. Ultra ultra violent. Fatality moves like shoving a post through someone’s head. Chainsaw on your right arm.” I really hope this is true, being a huge fan of Sega and Clover. |

Finally some concrete info on what they are working on. Bayonetta sounds wild. I can't wait to see it. I love the fact that these guy's games are equal parts style and substance.

I have a feeling that this could be legit. After all, isn't SEGA's Gamers' Day this week? I think I remember either reading or someone saying to me it was the 14th or 15th of this month.
It will be interesting to see if SEGA are funding or merely publishing like they did with Monolith's Condenmned.

I hope that's something that got lost a bit in translation. I would prefer to see a lead character designed similar to Rose McGowan's Cherry (?) from Planet Terror. Someone with actual guns for legs... or some bizarre DMC-esque variation on this. For some reason the 'guns on her feet' bit is making me think of that 50 Cent sequel. Don't ask me why. :P But, in saying that... it sounds to me that this game will have a play style that will see the character jumping into the air and doing combos firing her 'appendages' at the enemies below. |

Isn't there a supposed "Sega day" this week with information on the Silicon Knights game, Sonic Heroes and even Skies of Arcadia 2? There was some kind of list German websites were ordered to take down by Sega, so I think it was trustworthy. I'd expect more on this deal later this week then.

Wastes hours checking old Famitsu software data, but that's why we love him.
